Not a fan - doesn't work!
2 stars because the IDEA is AMAZING... in theory. We spent all this time setting up the summit software, and it kept crashing (entire site was down and speakers couldn't access, attendees couldn't sign up at times). On top of that, multiple speakers had issues uploading AND the software sent out an email 5 days early saying "THE SUMMIT IS TODAY!" when we never set it up to do that - and now my inbox is full of "wait, I thought the summit was this weekend!" and it's taking so much more time. In addition, people struggled signing up to be affiliates! What a mess. I was so excited to try this out and now it's just 100x more work for me.

Checking with the development team we don't appear to have had any "site crashing" or software downage. We also didn't have any other users report the site being down.
The emails are set to go out based on the date that is set and selected in the "email section". It is possible that you changed the date of your summit or had the emails originally set to go out at that time and forgot to change them? It's an automated notification that goes out the day the summit is supposed to go live.
I'm not sure what is meant by speakers had problems uploading? If you can be more clear on that we'll look into it as well. We do occasionally see speakers having "user errors" meaning, they get confused on what they are doing and blame the platform, when in reality they potentially had a mistake.
I'll have the team look into this further, but we've not had any other support tickets come in with these issues or errors.
We'll continue to improve and do better.
