Visitor Tracking - Unlimited Website Tracking Reviews

I recently purchased VisitorTracking.com through AppSumo (Tier 3) and wanted to share my thoughts on this analytics tool.

Setting up the tool was simple - it literally took just 30 seconds. All I had to do was create a site, copy the provided code to my page header, and it immediately started tracking visitors - even with my EU cookie consent management system running. The data visualization is clean and intuitive, making it easy to understand visitor behavior.

The only issue I've encountered involves the display of tracked conversions. When you create and later delete conversions, they still appear in the view, which creates some confusion in the interface. I reached out to their support team about this, and they responded within a few days saying they might address this in a future update. It's not a deal-breaker, just a nice-to-have improvement.

Identifying which companies visit our website means making the most of all the work we do in terms of SEO, Google Ads, branding awarnes, and so on.

No issues. No hidden tricks. Just does exactly what it says it does. Product feels finished and is a pleasure to use.

You specify a website as an object, add the tracking script to its code and then away it goes, giving you a lovely dashboard and visitor metrics. Very helpful.

In terms of future "nice to haves" for the product - a method to query the data via API or export large sets of the data would be cool. Some form of reporting, wrap-up or notification ( think daily/weekly email or slack notifications of visitor numbers ) could be cool too. Maybe branching into SEO performance ( doesn't quite feel right for the product's niche ) or adding in other analytics for overlap and additional info in some way, i.e. G4A. After checking the roadmap, the export and reporting is already underway.

I am happy with my purchase it is easy to set up and is very friendly with no learning curve, I recommend it.

After a very minimal amount of time using this, I'm really impressed with its simplicity. It's exactly the kind of thing I would want to give access to website clients due to the absolute terror they feel when logging into Google Analytics. I'm not a GA expert, so I can't compare features directly (and I'm not they're not on the same level), but I know from a user standpoint this is exactly the kind of info the average website owner wants to see.

My primary concern is about pageviews. The numbers feel low, so it feels cost-prohibitive to offer to all clients, which means it would have to be an add-on situation. I appreciate there are options for that built in, but we'll see if it's a hard sell compared to GA (which is free).

First time using this type of tool does what I was looking for

I've been looking for an app like this for a while but didn't know how to Search for an app that did something similar so I ended up trying Analytic app app sumo. I was trying to use google looker studio to compare stuff but it was too complicated - but this program does everything that I need. Once I've installed the tracking code, I also get a list of my best performing pages and sites and it's incredible knowing what sites are being indexed / clicked on and which sites I can discard as I'm not getting a return on my investment. I can't speak highly enough of how much this site makes it so much easier to track all my sites finally. Thank you so much.

It offers a real glimpse to your site performance if you ever doubt the numbers from other sources. There are so many sources for stats on your website performance, so an alternative is absolutely necessary. The interface is warming without cluttering and unnecessary garbage. I like it. However, I believe they need to give more to us sumolings. Conversions breakdown should be available for all tiers.

This had a lot of great reviews, and I understand that some other reviewers were concerned about this company's offer of more tracking in exchange for a review, but the actual product and service are great. Honest! We are using this to track traffic on three different sites and might add more too. So far, we like it.

I debated this app for a few weeks (I'm not sure why!) and finally decided to purchase it. One minute later, I had data on the dashboard. Five minutes later, I had set up conversion tracking, including page views and funnels. The instruction videos on the site make this the easiest implementation of any SEO tool I've used. The data is focused and exactly what you need to manage an e-commerce store. I have used it to track both Shopify and GHL websites - all were perfect so I have stacked 5 codes. Don't miss out on this app.

Bought tier 1 originally for a website I volunteer for and my husbands ecommerce site. The states show a lot and I figured upgrading to tier 3 would give me even better benefits. We now have a ton of insights we've never had before, even with Google Analytics. Great tool!
