I ran into an issue with my WordPress site as JetPack was no longer functioning, so rather than deal with more plugins on my sites, I ditched JetPack and decided to look for an alternative, non-plugin solution.

Enter Visitor Tracker. It boasted having very simple setup and supporting multiple sites in a single dashboard, and since I do have multiple sites to manage, I wanted to give this a try. I'm here to say that set up was as advertised. I was able to get my site configured in about 5 minutes after viewing the steps needed to configure a WP site, and when this was done and I returned to Visitor Tracking, I was off to the races immediately.

The dashboard is very clean looking with a modern UI which I really appreciate. I'm typically viewing the default view which shows live viewers (including new or repeat viewers). I have not yet gone deeper with the app in my first week, but the conversion tracking capabilities appear to be what adds the most value. Once I set up some campaigns I'll be sure to dig into this area of the platform. My site is rather unique in that is largely a flat structure with the home page having 95% of the visitor activity (as expected), so the tracking the visitor session doesn't add a lot of valuable information (no fault of Visitor Tracking -- that's because of my site structure).

My one wishlist item is that instead of manually setting up links to track, that this platform will provide an option to track all external link clicks from my site as I'm an aggregator site and all my links point to outside websites. Hopefully that may be something they add down the road.

I'm very pleased with this offering and I'll be adding more sites to this platform for reporting purposes. If you are looking for something very easy to set up, but with deep features for tracking campaigns and conversions for multiple sites, this is a great LTD.
