X (Twitter) posts are restricted to 280 characters not allowing verified users to create longer posts. Twitter has not fully completed the rebrand and tools are not yet required to update as a result. Once that goes in effect, we will certainly update it to X. Character limit is indeed is set at 280. While verified accounts are indeed able to post longer tweets, this feature is not yet available to tools.
