Q: Hi, VS looks fantastic and I'm about to purchase, but I have just two questions.

A lot of companies featured on Appsumo die out. VistaSocial doesn't look like one of those, but I'm looking for a few signals to confirm this.

One thing that's essential for serious SMM platforms is to become an official 'Marketing Partner' of the various social platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. This is something that all of VistaSocial's competitors have done (all of the SMM platforms listed below) and they all feature their Certified Partner badges on their websites.
1) Why has VistaSocial not become an official partner of any of the social networks? It's not eye-candy or a vanity thing, it's reputation, access, company stability and customer confidence.

Also, in this forum I've seen a number of support requests relating to integration breakage with FB and others, but the response is "please message support". Seeing those support requests here is not a good sign and I'd love to know a bit more about VistaSocial as a company, since there's nothing at all about the actual company on the website. To that end:
2) How many support staff does VistaSocial employ?
3) Can you speak to funding, engineering headcount, leadership, etc.?

These things shouldn't be hidden and being more open about it should help sales, not hinder.

VistaSocial competitors with Marketing Partner status:
Percolate, Sprinklr, Olapic, Agora Pulse, Sendible, Sprout Social, Tailwind, Hootsuite, Later, Brandwatch, Buffer, Vidmob, VidMob, Canva, Curalate, Khoros

A: We've been around for 2 years - AppSumo isn't how we launched, just a campaign we're running these 2 weeks :)

Reggie_VistaSocial,

You did not answer any of the questions that Todd Gibson asked. I and most of the Users would like to know the answer to these questions. I have bought a lot of deals similar to this one that end up not working properly.

Let reiterate and me ask the same questions here:

1) Why has VistaSocial not become an official partner of any of the social networks? It's not eye-candy or a vanity thing, it's reputation, access, company stability and customer confidence.

2) How many support staff does VistaSocial employ?

3) Can you speak to funding, engineering headcount, leadership, etc.?

Great questions:

1) Why has VistaSocial not become an official partner of any of the social networks? It's not eye-candy or a vanity thing, it's reputation, access, company stability and customer confidence.

Vista Social as an app is a fully approved, vetted, frequently audited and verified app on each network. Lots of networks have extremely strict policies of which app can do what we do. The fact that we are all on networks already says that we have gone through all that process.

In terms of partnership - these are just discretionary. No one knows which criteria is used to determine who can become a partner. Most of these networks don't even offer a way to apply to be a partner.

2) Also, in this forum I've seen a number of support requests relating to integration breakage with FB and others, but the response is "please message support". Seeing those support requests here is not a good sign and I'd love to know a bit more about VistaSocial as a company, since there's nothing at all about the actual company on the website.

We operate in a fully transparent manner. You can see, in realtime, any past or ongoing outages and system issues https://vistasocial.freshstatus.io/ Feel free to subscribe. Issues are possible, sometimes they are on our end, sometimes on the social network side. In all cases, we handle them quickly.

To that end:

2) How many support staff does Vista Social employ?
3) Can you speak to funding, engineering headcount, leadership, etc.?

All of this is available on our LinkedIn page :)
