Q: Why are LTD accounts cancelled?

please explain why LTD user accounts were cancelled? This is unethical!

A: We monitor reselling activity of LTD licenses (i.e. facebook groups, reddit). It seems that your account has been flagged. If this is an error, this is super easy to fix. Just reach out to our support and send the the proof of purchase.

Same thing happened to me! They claimed I resold it, which is absolutely NOT true. The thought of doing so with any LTD never even occurred to me! How would one even go about doing something like that?! I have written them back asking for proof, so hopefully it will get resolved.

Same here, incredibly unethical company. Locked my team and our clients out of the account, claiming I had resold the LTD. I run an agency. What benefit could I possibly have from reselling Vista Social accounts and risking my clients being blocked from our platform?

Have not hear back from them, despite several emails asking for them to provide proof that I resold the software somehow? Again, I do not know how I would even do this kind of thing. I’m going to try reaching out one more time before notifying appsumo of their unethical practices

Please notify AS as soon as possible. I have raised this issue with them, and I don't think they realize this is affecting numerous LTD holders. We had no notification that we were banned; we only found out when we tried to log in. I imagine there are many LTD holders who have been banned and would be completely unaware if they haven't logged into their account in a while.

UPDATE: Great back-and-forth with Reggie and had my access restored successfully after I provided proof of my purchase. I didn't realize that the selling of LTD licenses was even a thing (which I did not do), so it was enlightening. Essentially I had changed my email address and that set off a red flag in the system. I encourage others to provide proof if you are in the same boat.

I wouldn't trust them they've continually cut promised services and banned people for calling them out, check out Postly they may still be on AS and if not they have LTD offers every once and a while.

This is total nonsense. There is a lot of reselling of LTD licenses which totally against terms. If you haven't resold and somehow got flagged, as @c-lo pointed out - just contact support, send them your LTD receipt and you'll be all set. I've been a user for 2 years and have nothing but praise for them as a product and a team.

The banned me for calling them out publicly on an obvious lie. They refused to reinstate my account and eventually AS had to refund the purchase manually because Vista refused to reinstate the account. I've never resold an LTD and they provided no proof I did anything against TOS besides calling them out for cutting services that were promised to LTD holders.
