Q: Key Canva-Alternative Updates that VC Needs NOW
Longtime Crello/VistaCreate user here and im glad to see this is back for more sumo action, but I have to say - with the existing feature set from Canva that allows users to upload PDFs, .AI/.PSD files, proportional image resizing, importing/sharing pre-made templates for other users, as well as providing an app marketplace to expand functionality upon the base product, it feels as though this tool has been severely lagging behind that main competitor for quite some time now.
Are we aware of the significant market share that Canva has and if so, what is the team doing here to plan for the future in regards to staying competitive? We'd all love to know!
Canva is valued at ~50B. Vista's parent company is valued at ~2B, and VistaCreate is probably a loss leader in their portfolio. VistaCreate won't be able to keep up with Canva, and that's okay. Just be aware that with this low lifetime price comes a more limited -- although still respectable -- set of features.
Have you used the product yourself?
This feedback is coming from someone who has already had real-world experience with the product. I want this to be a strong contender in the market.
Regardless of valuation, as a user, you should be open to having the latest tools available to you in the marketplace.
If it stops being useful to you, what benefit is the lifetime price that you paid?
