The first few minutes in the app were not pleasing at all. Just noticed that a large portion of the stock photos was taken away or renamed to premium (either way I don't like it). I tried to remove the background of a few photos and got the error "Something went wrong. Please try again." in many of them. And went it did work, the result was not really polished but blurry and faulty.
Many of the design capabilities are tied to the templates, so creating your own from scratch it's actually a painful process. The drag and drop of animations are quite slow and not practical, the search results only give one result for "iPhone" and the lack of integrations (i.e. Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, etc) make any of the competitors stand out.

What I liked:
- Large amount of templates, although simple, well designed.
- High-quality premium photos, with the ability to buy even more good looking ones from 1$
- Simple interface, intuitive UI.
- No learning curve at all.

What I disliked:
- Lack of design capabilities: no effects to any objects or photos like shadows and such.
- Video templates are way too static and really difficult to make unique (Many of them are just one giant gif with some texts on top)
- Right-clicking opens the browser context menu.
- No gradient background.
- Slow editor. Especially in videos.
- No layers display.
- Lack of more types of design. No Pinterest pins (1000x15000) sizes, no Youtube channel art, intro, outros, etc.

I don't really get the idea behind Crello, as a graphic design tool Canva does it better, even in the free plan. As a social media video creator, Offeo does it better, with tons of video effects, timelines, and more customization. If they don't stand out in any of those areas I fear they get swallowed by their competitors. I'm gonna keep it for a month and see how it develops, I hope they listen to the feedback and keep improving the product.
