Great question, SunShine.. :) Project huddle allows ONLY commenting on the websites whereas, Visual Inspector Inspector lets you make changes WITHOUT coding.. Isn't it awesome.
IMHO ProjectHuddle is a better solution. It gives the ability to manage comments in a much better way, it is more versatile in terms of the evaluation of layouts.
In VisualInspector - CSS edition, works very poorly (because generated code is not optimized, and when editing content sometimes the text which is improved is presented as a large amount of HTML).
Nevertheless, everyone has their own values, I would choose Visual Inspector without thinking if they invested in making a tool for managing comments, tasks.
I wonder about integration with WordPress and Adobe XD... The website shows that it is possible, but nowhere did I find out how to integrate.
Hello intersynergy, I agree that deciding tool is personal choice and I am glad to say that over 40,000 teams around the world chose Visual Inspector.. :)
Thanks for trying Visual Inspector and sorry for any inconvenience you may had here earlier - It's much better NOW. If you let us know exactly what'd you like us to improve, we'll be very happy to hear it.
About CSS generation, no one can do that better than YOU... but for those who don't know how to code or don't want to spend hours figuring out the CSS classes, selectors etc.. Visual Inspector makes it possible without learning to code and cutting hours of redundant effort of writing CSS.
Visual Inspector offers plugin WordPress, Slack & Adobe XD for closer integration. You can go to the respective plugin store and look for Visual Inspector.
Let me know if you need help.
Cheers!
I have the "Collaborator" version (I guess same as "Pro") and the problem is that I wasn't able to share projects and have them comment on it unless they have a paid account with VI as well... In that, Project Huddle is better if you have many clients/collaborators... On my side, I made them buy it, so I save the annual fees of PH...
That being said, this is the clarification that I'd like to have on this "Team" plan where we can have "Unlimited collaborators"... so, does that mean that our clients don't have to have the paid version (or even have to install the extension) to be able to comment/review?
Hey there Sumo-ling (you are becoming my favorite.. :),
Clients don't need premium account or purchase new license to be able to review changes & leave comments. Can you send me a sample link where this is happening?
You can either install Chrome extn or do on-site installation ( by adding a very very small js code in the page).
Happy to help with that if needed.
