Q: So if we share the link with our team or clients and the feedback comes back from multiple sources: a) how ...
does Visual Inspector reconcile conflicting changes/feedback?
b) after any necessary reconciliation can we continue to collaborate and refine the page(s)?
c) when we are done can we just click 'accept' and push those changes into WordPress or do we still have to do the development work against the site separately? If the former, how does that work? With a custom child style sheet?
Looking at their plans it, it seems that version control is in the Enterprise tier
Hey Patrick, thanks for the queries. This'll be helpful:
1. If you make changes and share the link for feedback, others can only reply to comments (ask you to make specific change.)
2. Yes. You can make any number of changes iteratively at any point in time.
3. You can use WP plugin for Visual Inspector to get all changes just by one click. It'll add a custom CSS file without bothering your actual code.
Hope this helps. Feel free to reach for more queries.
Cheers!!
Thanks for this. So that I'm clear:
a) I can accept these changes and push them right into WP through the plugin for this plan or does that require an upgrade?
b) do I have to keep this plugin active or can I deactivate it when we are not developing?
c) this is just for css, correct? If the client wants something like a widget moved which would require more than CSS work, this won't do that right? (i.e., it only modifies the child css and not anything like the functions file?
d) does this work for any theme/framework like Genesis or Avada or Divi?
Just following up on this. Can you please take a look?
