Q: Hi there, I´m running a website for online acting classes with different coaches.

1. Any chance to integrate your tool into a wordpress platform?

2. I saw that you mentioned that CNAME is not possible, any plans to change that in the future?

3. Do you have a public roadmap?

4. Also saw, that only one host at a time is possible. However, I´d love to allow my coaches to use subaccounts for instance with their own calendars. Would that not be possible even for the highest tier?

Thanks for your response

A: Thank you for contacting us.
1. Could you please elaborate on what you want to integrate into WordPress, meeting scheduling?
2. We don't have a CNAME add-on planned for the time being, but we will look into it next year. Having your CNAME or custom URL is less important than making your meetings secure. Currently, your URL is displayed similarly to https://yourname.portal.vivomeetings.com/
3. That's a great idea. We can add it to our website and display the roadmap. We are currently working on event registration, team chat, and Vivomeeting inbound phone calls (allowing you to receive calls on the dashboard) and desktop apps for Windows and Mac.
4. The industry standard for video conferencing solutions is one Host per license, but you can purchase as many hosts as you want. You can mix and match plans based on the other hosts' choices. You can, for example, buy Basic or Standard plans for the hosts if they do not need to record and only a few people attend their meetings.

yeah i see, maybe a video conferencing solution is not the right fit for me. I plan to have several users and they should also be able to record videos for getting feedback. But I´ll continue following your product.

You can record if you have a Plus or Pro plan. You can buy Basic plans for your coaches. If all plans are purchased under the same account, it can be managed by the ADMIN with the Pro plan, which creates and schedules all meetings, and the Basic plan user is added as a moderator.
They automatically inherit the PRO plan features for the meeting, they can moderate the class or coaching session, and the main ADMIN (Pro plan user) is not required to attend the meeting. One of the top universities in the United States uses this scenario, and the department ADMIN is the Pro user, scheduling and creating all meetings.

Hm, I see. But I´d rather allow my users to schedule the meeting according to their needs. I´m using the Amelia plugin for the scheduling, so maybe it could work when the plugin does the scheduling as an automated admin. However, I´d also love to allow my users to send video messages as a recording to coaches with the click of a record button. So that won´t work.

can you clarify - Plus or Pro plan - into Appsumo plan terms - Tier 1, Teir 2, Teir 3 (one, two or three licenses) ty

Founder

Most people use calendar/event schedulers. Tidycal is a cheap one that you can buy on AppSumo.

the industry standard may be one host per license, but on Zoom - you can add someone else/a meeting participant, without a zoom license, as a co-host. and you can even make them host of the meeting if I need to step away to take a call or something. THOSE features are required to be a zoom killer, at least for me. I often need someone to monitor the chat, or mute/unmute people during a meeting or webinar, to help out. is that available? I have a T2 license - haven't set it up yet

I do a lot of co-working sessions and the ability to sit back and be a participant and not have to run the meeting - but turn over host controls to someone else is great.
