A HUGE number of us looking to replace SESSIONS have paused due to your arbitrary limits. Would rather pay a bit more for a full-featured LTD than be stuck with MONTHLY charges for random add-ons.

Edited Nov 2, 2024A: We have addressed this multiple times: the plan available on AppSumo is the same as the one on our website. Every account includes Free Webinar mode at no extra cost, while the "webinar with event registration" feature is an add-on available only on our website with monthly and yearly plans. The Webinar 500 plan is priced at $38.99 per month, and the Webinar 1000 plan at $269.99 per month.
Offering these add-ons for free with any plan would be unsustainable, and including them in a lifetime deal would not be viable. The situation with Session should be a lesson for everyone on AppSumo that sustaining services while offering everything for free is not feasible, even for big companies that generate significant annual revenue. This is why Session is having issues.
While we appreciate being part of the AppSumo community, everyone needs to understand that service providers on AppSumo cannot afford to offer free services indefinitely without jeopardizing their operations. Sustainability is vital to maintaining quality and ensuring long-term service.
WHERE in our earlier message does it say Plus members come to AS with the expectation of receiving “everything for free”?

I don't think that's what Samdudu was saying. I think he's saying that the promises made by Sessions were unrealistic (for the price) and should have caused skepticism to begin with. If I had to guess, I'd say Vivomeetings' founders have done some $$ projections, and they're being realistic about what they can promise to LTD purchasers while staying financially viable.
