I can't wait for the Windows app, but for the time being the Chrome extension does everything you'd expect. To get around the fact I can't put my face bubble on the desktop (unless it's in a Chrome web tab), I just keep my website on one side of the screen while doing what I need to do on the other side.

This is a great Loom alternative, and with unlimited videos, you're getting great value for money if you do lots of videos.

I like that I can share entire folders with people, but I don't like that they have to sign up to Vmaker to watch them (one more obstacle in client engagement).

I'm looking forward to the advanced video editor (Josh has said it's coming soon), as the basic editor is pretty rubbish - you can only crop the beginning and end. I'd love to have the ability to upload my edited videos, which I think will be an option when the advanced editor is released - you'll be able to insert videos when editing your recordings (but you can't just upload a video on its own).

I had one video I attempted to cut two seconds off the end, and it never rendered. I was told I shouldn't close the tab while it's rendering - this seems really inefficient, but this is no doubt something they'll fix.

Next features I'd love to see is to be able to choose the dimensions of your webcam video - especially when you choose to bring the video to the front. Further to that would be improving the quality of the webcam image. Apparently these features are in the pipeline for development.

All in all, it's still in its early stages, but it's got great potential as they continue to develop it. They're responsive and supportive with helping users make the most of it.
