Vmaker is Vdisappointing
To say Vmaker is literally unusable would be an understatement...
(had to use berrycast to showcase why - kind of sad, no?)

- Windows desktop app isn't ready (odd choice to prioritize Mac over Windows when the latter has nearly a 77% market share...)
- Browser extension is very minimal and a little gaudy; settings like disabling the annoying highlight mouse click don't persist upon selection, so it's a constant fight trying to disable that functionality, especially as it's active by default
- No live support, which is really frustrating when the product is unusable and you have to rely on back-and-forth emails.
- Chrome extension in Brave (even though all of my issues have been inside Chome itself) doesn't launch when clicking the extension - you have to click "launch plugin" from inside the Vmaker dashboard
Biggest con:
- Have not been able to access or view a single recording I've tried since this morning. 8 hours later and the problem still exists.
As far as the dashboard goes, I'm not seeing anything that's really standout worthy. It seems more akin to Berrycast than it does (StoryXpress)Clapboard such that there aren't playlists or any other way to supercharge the user's experience.
It's also pretty gimmicky that on their site they "How To" pages where they advertise how you can record a live stream, or Zoom meeting, or Google Meet, so on and so forth and literally all that entails is that you join said platform and have to record it - that's not special or unique, that's just screen recording, and the steps are the same for every platform, because you're, once again, only recording your screen, there's no native integration or special actions at work here.
This feels like a half-baked, unfinished, untested product with a lot of shortsightedness and that's what we're presented with here. I'm giving it 2 tacos instead of 1 because of the deal limits, but it begs the question...why are the limits so generous? Well, once you actually (attempt to) use the platform, you soon discover why. If it's too good to be true, that's because it is.

Let me try and answer a few queries you have listed here. Kindly note that there are two things I am looking to address - issues with the tool and feature requests.
- The Windows application is in our pipeline and you can expect the same by Q3. The idea to launch the chrome plugin prior is to serve the Windows user market as soon as possible.
- The issues on the plugin not getting started and the fact that you couldn't view the video after 8 hours is very unfortunate. But I am pretty sure this is a glitch and we can help you get this solved right away.
- We do have in-app live support who are answering queries 24*7. Please reach us via intercom anytime and we will be with you.
I did check the video you shared and though we are a chromium extension we would still request you to try the plugin on Google Chrome before trying it on Opera browser.
I can assure you the product is launched live with a vision and we want to bring the best to all our users. We are closely monitoring the feedback and making changes appropriately.
The branding on the player page and the CNAME requests made were heard and they are implemented within 48 hours.
