This isn't just a win for medical users; it’s a security upgrade that benefits every Sumo-ling on our platform. Here is the breakdown:

🛡️ Zero Data Retention (ZDR) for All Users

We have provisioned our account for Zero Data Retention . This means that for our Eligible Services, your inputs and outputs are processed but not stored long-term by OpenAI. Your data belongs to you—period.

🚫 No Training on Your Data

Under this agreement, your proprietary information and conversations are never used to train OpenAI’s future models. Your "secret sauce" and private clinical or business notes stay private.

🏥 The Path to HIPAA Compliance

For those in the healthcare space, this BAA is the essential legal and technical foundation required to handle Protected Health Information (PHI). While we are currently finishing our final internal audits and staff training to reach full end-to-end HIPAA compliance, this agreement ensures:

• OpenAI acts as our Business Associate, adhering to the strict requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule.
• Enterprise-Grade Infrastructure: We are using dedicated, secure endpoints specifically approved for sensitive data.
• Subcontractor Accountability: OpenAI ensures any subcontractors handling PHI meet the same high standards.

⚡ What’s New in 1.0.12:

• Lightning Fast Responses: We’ve optimized our infrastructure. You’ll notice significantly lower latency and faster response times across the board.
• Edit/Delete Transcription History: You can now edit or delete transcriptions directly in your history. Clean up your notes exactly how you want them.
• 3x Larger Custom System Prompts: We’ve bumped the custom system prompt limit from 1,000 to 3,000 words. You can now give VoiceDash incredibly detailed personas and instructions.
• Smarter Diagnostics: We’ve added logs and alerts for both users and the server. If something goes wrong, we’ll both know why, making troubleshooting way faster.
• Bug Fix: That Writing Speed indicator bug is fixed.

Mac Intel Support: We heard you! We’ve resolved the technical issues for Mac Intel updates. Moving forward, Mac Intel will stay perfectly in sync with our Silicon and Windows releases.
