I just love it.

There are many reasons for all this love for Voiceform: it's easy to use both on the back and front end, it works well, seems stable. Well, technically, all seems good.

But the real thing is it is so easy! Clients click and just leave a voice message or review or comment, without writing. When you're over a certain age, and you want to send a message to someone in their site, and you have to write on that tiny keyboard, and maybe don't have your glasses and all is a little blurred. It is such a pain sometimes, and you just drop it. Voiceform just improves engagement with that annoying website contact page.

I haven't explored it for real yet, but I see so many possibilities besides.

I also love the fact that we can choose our plan based only in the number of responses per month with all the features included. It's perfect for small businesses like mine.

Amazing product !

Audio is the king when it comes to collecting user feedback and any other data like testimonials. The interface is easy to use and the best thing - the team is super responsive - I have 2 questions and the team came back to me with great answers on a very timely manner. I think we're onto a winner :)

While the functions are still basic, the foundations are rock solid.

Very intuitive and easy to use.

I plan to use it largely for audio testimonials, so it would be great to have:
+ the ability for users to take and submit a photo of themselves
+ a tick box consenting to use the audio and image for marketing purposes.

While it is possible to have a user submit their email and then contact them afterwards for these things, to have it all baked in would be glorious beyond belief :)

The GeezerWise Voiceform Two-Step… 3+2 = 5 Codes

This was a stroke of luck for me. I didn’t know about Voiceform but I did have a need for a way to reduce friction trying to get testimonials for my business.

I create smart done-for-you list building / lead generation apps, products, and services.

That’s a competitive gig... so it’s in my interest to have ways to instil trust with people who don’t know me, haven’t done business with me yet, and have no reason to trust me.

I believe if I can reduce or eliminate their apprehension about what I offer before they can think up the questions, I stand a pretty good chance of getting the sale with much less fuss over my not so cheap prices.

The ideology behind people resisting typing up stuff in a feedback form is sound… I hate typing even THIS REVIEW but I’m doing it because AS hasn’t yet reduced feedback friction in here.

Anyway, I’m an old guy who is never bothered to try something that even just sounds smart and since this company is in my world…

Toronto is the other side of Vancouver Island…

I decided to buy 3 codes because that’s probably all I’ll ever need.

The purchase went slick and within 30 minutes of onboarding I created a survey before I even knew how to test it.

I then found the share link, dropped it on a friend to test for me, and while I was at it I clicked that link myself and took the survey.

That BLEW my mind... and by the time I had downloaded the audios and played back the answers, I dreamed up a swack of ideas for this app that I never thought of before.

That’s when I did the second part of the GeezerWise two-step…

I purchased the 2 remaining codes to make my buy a 5-stack and I predict anyone who missed this deal and finds out about it later won’t be happy, happy, happy! Just saying 😎✌️

Great for understanding people

I think the power of voiceform is that you can hear the voice of the person who is taking the survey.

Voice simply cannot be matched. It communicates more than any text on a page can do.

You can understand if it's a male or female who is speaking, how confident they sound in their answers.

I personally want to use this for creating podcast interviews!

It's a keeper but it has a LONG way to go

Alas, here is my first sub-4 taco rating and I hate doing it, but prospective buyers need to know what they are getting into. First, I love what Voice Form does -- allowing respondents to answer questions by recording and uploading audio. This has been really useful for me as a coach and HR consultant. I'm a one-person show juggling tons of clients, so when it's time for me to do individual interviews or focus groups, trying to find times that mutually work for me and my clients is a nightmare. Voice Form solves this problem: I essentially can do an interview asynchronously by allowing respondents to answer my questions using this tool. I can then schedule a short follow up call if I need to probe deeper or clarify anything. The support team is also responsive. I had an urgent need yesterday and one of their reps responded to me in less than 15 minutes. I was blown away.

Unfortunately, the technical glitches are currently stopping this product from being as great as it hopefully can be. Here are my pain points:
1. Transcription often does not work, and when it does, it is not very good. I have to rely on a separate product, Descript, to do my transcriptions because Voice Form fails at this.
2. Duplicate responses are generated whenever someone answers a questions. For example, I was interviewing 15 people through Voice Form and each answer generated 2 duplicates. It's not a dealbreaker, but it is a time suck to have to dedupe responses.
3. Duplicating a survey does not work. For me, only the first and last questions were duplicate and everything else didn't copy over regardless of the solutions I tried.
4. Sentiment analysis is useless because the transcription feature is horrible.

With all this said, I am keeping this product because I believe that the founder is committed to delivering quality and the support team is amazing. There is future value here if you understand that the product, as is, is basically only good for recording audio from your clients.

I wish the Voice Form team much success and hope the product delivers on its high potential. 2 tacos for now but looking forward to this being 5+ tacos down the road.

Great potential!

I'm testing out the platform to see if it's something I'll keep. It definitely has potential! I love the concept because there are a tonne of potential use cases with this app. My concern right now is whether the team will be invested enough to take the app to the next level.

Here's some of my early (UX) feedback:

1 - A lot of clicking around is required to get to and from different pages (navigation could be improved)
2 - I should be able to add multiple questions to a survey on one screen
3 - If I’ve added a question type, and then attempted to add the same question type to the survey, the new question does not get added. Instead the modal closes, and I’m taking back to the original question. To add the same question type consecutively, I have to go back to the main questions page and then select “add question.” There appears to be a glitch, because this is not the case if I am adding a new
4 - I have to select “+ choice” twice to add options to multiple choice questions. It should work the first time.
5 - I should be able to modify question type without having to delete it
6 - I should be able to customize the formatting for welcome and completion screens
7 - Respondents should be given the option to submit text responses to audio questions (if the form creator approves of this) - this would be advantageous for a number of reasons
Audio recordings were hit/miss - therefore - a survey respondent should have the ability to report issues from the question that may not be working properly. They could then be given an option to see the transcription of their audio - they could then submit the transcription instead. Not providing this option will most likely cause the respondent to not complete a survey they started.

Additionally, I think the following could be looked into:
*Improving the reporting - is there a way to export all responses in csv format? I've seen reports for questions, and also reports for each respondent.
*I tested on Android devices and it's not fully functional

The last thing I wanted to point out is that communication is key! I sent the team an email 1 week ago with this safe info, but haven't heard back yet.

Great Solution!

I've used other platforms (SpeakPipe) but they were clunky, unattractive, and the coding didn't keep up with the times. I'm loving my Voiceform experience so far. I'm using it to collect podcast feedback, but I will be expanding the use to collect testimonials and survey subscribers to make sure we're delivering the content they want and need. Everyone is on their phones all the time. Voiceform is so much easier than typing (for most people). And, if you have a podcast, it's a no-brainer because people are already into audio. It was incredibly easy to set up and I've already integrated it into my workflow.

Fabulous solution for testimonials

It's always such a pain to get client feedback and testimonials. One reason is, even when clients want to do it for you, everyone hates to write, so they put it off, then you have to ask them again... and it never happens. Or, I forget to ask until it's super awkward to approach them for feedback. Voiceform solves both problems. It allows respondents to just talk, to answer simple questions that (hopefully) will give you just what you need for your marketing. And it will be so easy and "not weird" for ME to just send them a link to the Voiceform after our projects as part of my workflow. The interface is attractive, pretty intuitive, and fun to use. It took me only a few minutes to put together a questionnaire of 6 questions that my clients can answer via audio. I like how if they "mess up" and want to do it over they can just hit the "Record" button again. The sound is amazing. And I know I will get a lot richer understanding of how they feel by hearing their voice than if they wrote down their answers. I did find a couple of things that need a tweak or further explanation on how to make them work (like I couldn't figure out how to add text to questions that *I* would voice record, so I didn't use those), but this is a nit. I can see how I will really love this tool, and so will my clients and students (I do some marketing training). The only reason I didn't stack is I don't have that many clients or customers in my business. If I had a retail or larger scale business, max stacking would be a no brainer. Looking forward to sending Voiceforms to all my clients!

Speaking of VoiceForms...

Wow! There is a lot to like about voiceform.com. It's definitely where the puck is headed, IMHO.

The interface is very easy to use, and it does exactly what is advertised. Like other reviewers have indicated here, there a lot of possible use cases to explore. The ease of capturing valuable data via voice means that you will get more responses, increasing the reliability of the indights. Secondly, because of the translation and sentiment analysis, you get more information to drill down with, not to mention having downloadable voice files.

But, as another reviewer has pointed out, if you have hundreds of responses, it can quickly become overwhelming trying to make sense of them (even if you have the transcripts).

VoiceForm really needs to help their users with a dashboard that can crunch the numbers/words and provide more powerful data. For example, here's what the Dubb platform (another appsumo deal) can do with a video transcription:

Wouldn't it be cool if VoiceForm could sift through ALL of the responses from a campaign and provide something similar? Would it be easier to make sense of? How valuable would the time savings be to a: Product dev team, researchers, marketing & sales... you get the idea.

Phillip and the folks at VoiceForm could totally disrupt the "forms" / survey niches by focusing on providing rich data insights. That's where it's all headed (eventually). Why not be first?

Anyhoo, the bottom line is... I think VoiceForm is going places. I believe in the team.

Here's a couple of suggestions for the team:

After someone has recorded an voice answer, change the text under the button to "Re-record" or "Record Again" so it's dead simple as to what their options are.

Order the individual's responses in the same as the order of the questions.

Get the sentiment right. E.g. https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuL2O2q

When goodbye page is reached, release the connection to the mic, if possible.

SO much potential

Just playing around with my 1st form for marketing- planning to gather voice responses and use them in a client video to share the customer story instead of just telling the client's story.
As a marketing agency, I also plan to use this for client requests. They can record them instead of typing out an email explaining them.
I think the level of engagement this will produce will far exceed traditional text form.
BONUS- Very responsive support team.
I'm definitely excited to integrate VoiceForm into my stack and for this product to continue to develop.

Speak instead of type - a great way to communicate

Voiceform caught my attention as the idea of speaking rather than typing seemed a great way for people to complete a form, without putting it off until later (don’t know about you, but I have many tabs open of forms I still need to complete :)

Then I thought, you know what, there are many ways I can use this in my business. Here are just a few of ideas that bubbled up to the surface:

- guests questions for a podcast show. Then play audio on show before answering.
- doing live videos - have a voice form where live listeners can ask questions. Then stream their question live before responding
- When students have completed a task in my program, they can give feedback on how it went, and any challenges they had
- student/customer support tickets

I’m not sure if you can limit the length of how long someone has to send a message, but this would be a good feature (stop those ramblers who love hearing their own voice :)

Plus, if it works with Iframely - then the form could be embedded in so many more places (and my LMS platform).

Overall I’m looking forward to see how this platform progresses and explore more ways I can use it.

Hear Your Customer Feedback

I was looking for a way to increase survey results from my website, social channels and email subscribers in a more interactive and personal way. I found Voiceform , which includes surveys, forms and assessments that let respondents answer questions and leave comments with their voice and/or through traditional type questions/answers.

I love the way it can be shared via link, social, email and/or embedding on website. Each form allows for adding your logo and customization to suit brand colors. This is a great tool for all business owners and marketers who want a more comprehensive way of collecting feedback from their audience. There is room for growth within the tool platform and I will definitely be signing up for the beta logic feature.

A new way to collect evaluations

I work as a program manager for a non-profit, and we prefer stories to traditional survey responses to tell our story through data. We've tried a variety of methods to gather true stories. The benefit of having a written story is that we know it's their story and can quote them. The bad news is that we rarely get a lot of information. A conversation is much better for details, but then we risk not getting an actual quote. So we started recording our "talk-story" sessions, but they could get quite long, so we had to transcribe everything and search for what we needed.

The game is being changed by Voiceform. We can ask a specific question and have the participant fill out the form with the answer. The audio is then transcribed for us by voiceform, and we have both the audio and the transcribed version to use as needed. So far, we've only gotten simple, short responses, and the translation has been excellent. We'll put this to the test with longer question answers in our next program session to see how it goes. We're really excited to see where Voiceform can take our evaluation efforts.

The team's customer service is outstanding, and Phillip is extremely helpful. When I first bought and tested it, I had a technical issue and was disappointed that it wouldn't work. Phillip responded quickly, kept me informed about the bug fix, and everything has been fine since then. I've shared this with other evaluators, and they're excited to see where this mix of data collection can take us. I'm looking forward to seeing how Voiceform develops.

The evolution of typeform

Typeform is here to stay.

But voice forms are here to take more and more of the audience that Typeform has. The ability to press and record your feedback is incomparable to the usual way of typing or choosing from a set of given options.

Besides, users will express themselves which should mean that qualitatively, you will get much more feedback than the usual written one, because it's easier to talk than to write.

Highly recommend.

Really, really promising

I've been using Jotform for surveys and various audio messaging and transcription tools for years now, and when this popped up as combining the two I was intrigued.

The first thing I noticed is the interface. It's very well designed and I'd literally been able to grab a template, customise and send it to a colleague to test in less than five minutes.

There is some work to be done in a few areas - small fixes, some improvements in transcription (Aussie accents are challenging) and some opportunities to enhance the way it works - but before I could even think to send an email, Philip reached out via LinkedIn and we were on a call to talk about how we were using it, the roadmap and more.

There are maybe 3 or 4 AppsSumo deals these past two years I've really felt had huge potential but this - in terms of the practical application on data gathering, client surveys and even capturing post-meeting file notes - is one that I can't wait to see where it goes.

A very, very easy purchase and one to hold onto.

So many Uses

I ask my podcast audience once a month to answer a single question. I love that I can download ALL the audio submissions with one click. I also teach to ask your customers tough questions about your show (Did you listen to the whole thing, why not). After only using it one day, I can see why I'm never using Google Forms again. I haven't even got to the embed tools or any of the nonaudio features.
