When you would like to put things in order when communicating on certain design related task, volley makes it easier to add your comment right from the browser, simple, straightforward and easy to use, organizes your communication and minimize the efforts and steps you need to take when it comes to feedback and following up on solved\unsolved issues.
What can be improved is having extensions for browsers other than chrome.

Hi Mark21,
Thanks for the review. We’re so happy you’re finding Volley to be useful. Feel free to reach out to alex@meetvolley.com anytime with thoughts, questions or needs.
P.S. we have something in the works re using volley without the need for an extension :)
I bought this when it first came out on AppSumo, because I was just starting a project and thought it might facilitate communication with the client. However, since neither I nor the client had used it before and we were already communicating by other means, we didn't use it much. It was also partly because it was limited. So we fell back to using Lightshot to add arrows, text and drawing to screenshots and then uploading those to Asana.
Now that Volley has added similar drawing tools, I would definitely push a client to using Volley instead of Lightshot. Volley adds so much more because you can really mark up a screenshot and you have a built-in workflow (marking tasks as complete, ability to reply to client comments, etc). So it's handy.
The one thing that would make it an absolute home run for me is if it integrated with Asana or Trello somehow. That's probably pretty complicated. As it is, Asana can't do what Volley does and Volley can't do what Asana does, so you need to flip from one to the other and you end up tracking tasks in two locations, which complicates the process a bit. The solution as it stands how is to open an Asana task with the link to the Volley note, and when all tasks on the Volley note are accomplished, you close the parent Asana task. Not too much overhead there.
So I like the tool and hope to use it more, but haven't used it that much. I would say that if you do a lot of web design work and are often exchanging screenshots or doing screenshares to have clients explain what they want to change, this is worth a try.

Hi ergophobe,
Thanks so much for the review!
In regards to your note about a Trello integration, we actually do offer such a thing currently. You can export any of your notes directly to a Trello board. Here’s a video showing the feature:

We also allow you to export directly to Trello automatically from the extension! Here’s...
I thought about buying a license to give access to whoever touches up my website. But after thinking about it, I'm using it to review high-value contracts and documents online. I was going to buy a subscription to Google just to be able to tag. But this idea is much better. One of the best ideas. An excellent product.

This one is a keeper
very simple and easy to use. I am actually using it "like Nimbus" and it is "unlimited" usage. Go figure!
Buy it before its gone!
Cheers
