I've got reservations...
I purchased this a few weeks ago and have been uploading my content. I think its a great platform with great potential but a few issues make it a bit difficult to actually get the kind of use I was expecting of it. My impression from reading the product information was that this platform would be the all-in-one platform to replace all other software I need for my business. And while it could, I found that some aspects fall short and I would still need several other dedicated software to run the business effectively - such as email eg mailchimp/aweber/calendly. The scheduling calendar doesnt connect to gmail/outlook.
While initially it looks like a great platform, there's a few of issues that are causing some reservations on my part. For example, despite my purchase of Level 2 which includes white labelling, emails sent to any enrolments have "powered by Vonza" at the bottom. In my opinion, if its white labelled, then that should not be there. The same applies to the scheduling calendar, which has a "powered by Vonza" label ribbon across the top right.
Only single emails can be sent from the platform, and they cant be scheduled nor automated. The funnels could have been an alternative for email automation, however they are limited specifically to actions in the cart (purchased upsell, declined upsell) therefore not useful for (say) email prompts on a regular basis (daily/weekly) to course members. The text on forms cannot be formatted, it is very small, and the font cannot be changed. The same applies to font used for courses. I could not really figure out how to use the memberships section, my purchase limits me to 3, but within each one there is the option of several tiers. Even after several hours of trying different things, I still cant figure out how the memberships/tiers works. The top navigation has very limited space, if more than 4 links in the navigation all additional links are rolled into a "more" link. the footer font is also very small and cant be edited. Web pages are build in block format, but there also is no possibility to change the font style or size & it appears that the layout is set.
The payment platform available is Vonza payments or stripe, but doesnt recognise that one may already have a stripe account and not need to open a new one. When I have logged in today after having been away a week, I find that my stripe connection seems to have disappeared.
I have used other software before such as Learnbook, Thinkific, Teachable, etc. Even Acadle which I purchased here on AppSumo, and I had hoped Vonza would be the solution I was looking for at a great price point. I'm not a fan of monthly subscriptions, so I was really hoping this would work out. But sadly, I despite having put very many hours into uploading my content I am coming to the conclusion that perhaps its not suitable for my use because of the areas where it falls short.
