Lets start with the pros:
My use case includes uploading video to some host and displaying it on my course sites, and restricting the videos to be able to played only on those domains. Can vooplayer do that? Yes!
Additionally it provides tonnes of features which marketers need, being analytics, heatmaps, adding CTAs etc.
What could have been better:
Play video once per IP - complete dud. Open the video in incognito window and I can play it multiple times
No Closed Captions support - Why? Many features are restricted for enterprise accounts, but something as basic as cc should have been allowed. Vimeo hosts the videos, bandwidth isn't cheap. I feel I'm doing justice by paying a (not-so-)hefty annual charge. But just to display those videos (along with cc) inside a vooplayer wrapper, I need an enterprise monthly paid account? What exactly am I paying for, I can brand my vimeo player as well, don't need the advanced CTA features which vooplayer offers, anyway!
Guys it's a humble request, please consider enabling the cc for us pro license holders.
This aside, the deal is a steal deal. I hate that I won't be able to offer my viewers closed captions and they won't be happy about the new developments, either :(
