More like taco salad if you ask me.

I know that haters are gonna hate. But hear me out. I've been with Appsumo for years and this is one of the most rare occasions to drag me out to review vooPlayer.
As a digital marketer and a done-for-you agency I rely heavily on the use of videos online. I have YouTube & Vimeo channels to upload content.
I purchased two deals from them.

Here's the issues that caused me to request a refund of both licences.
A. 5 GB and 10 GB is too small. A drop in the bucket. Here's a screen grab of My Videos dashboard. http://prntscr.com/kmkdvq
It just three videos. The time length are 6, 3 and 2 minutes total run times. So for just over 10 minutes I've used up 2.10 GB of the 10 GB I paid for two licenses! Over 20% gone just like that! Well so much for cataloging 'evergreen' videos.
Vimeo offers me for $20.00/month up to 20 GBs of upload space PER WEEK.

B. It's just not friendly to WordPress page builders like MotoPress. I have contacted vooplayer for help and got a chat session that went on for about two weeks. Over a week passed when I could not get a timely reply to the point where it was suggested to email their tech support. I had to ask for it.
There was not visible link for tech support or customer care. Igor was just gone and I don't know if they have anyone else manning the chat sessions. I provided a temp login to my admin section to show how the embed feature absolutely hates their code. You can see the result of it here as an image: http://prntscr.com/kmkh22. All three video thumbnails sport the same broken play button dead center of the video.

To this day weeks later, I still have no response. Just the sound of crickets. I was warned to allow sufficient time to pass before they could help support Summolings like me because of the rush of new customers. Wait a tick. Shouldn't your company be able to take care of the customer logistically BEFORE rolling out a campaign designed to support customers having issues?

C. The upload page is jengy at best. Personally I don't have time to wait an hour or more to have the files upload successfully. I uploaded the same file on Vimeo and it ran circles around the upload page of vooPlayer. Not to mention that Vimeo took it fast and ONE time where vooPlayer just takes forever and then with no explanation blows out the upload altogether.

So in terms of value, performance and support, I give this 'taco salad' a solid one. I think they are going after Wistia's business model but it feels more like the AAA baseball team compared to the Big Leagues.

Before you defend their status, understand that I have purchased more than a few dozen (50+) Appsumo offers and only one went bankrupt. I understand the risk because the price reflects it. But sadly this product feels like the leadership is running an ad-hoc operation where they manage by crisis rather than being proactive to begin with or to compare value stacks against real world companies within their space.
