Voxpopme Reviews

My first review was rejected by Creator and AppSumo because they said it didn't meet AppSumo's community guidelines, which I disagree with! So I'm writing again and we'll see how it goes...

The tool itself could be good if:

1) VoxPopMe uses its own reviewers, right? You don't have the option to decline it. You can collect sensitive information in your video reviews, so how is it possible that their reviewers have access to it? It does not comply with the Privacy Policy of our company or other Sumolings who wish to use this tool.

2) Based on their decision, they can reject the review at any time. Even if your reviewers answered the questions correctly. Then it will just mess up your stats and analytics.

3) No CNAME. This means you buy this offer and promote VoxPopMe for free.

4) The only sharing option is a URL link. How about a QR code, popup, etc.? Literally nothing. How about if we wish to request a product review from our clients who uses a Shopify store? No option!

5) Shareable widget ak. showreel - does not summarize your reviews in the number of stars. Who will watch 5 or more videos? there should be a remarkable option like stars.

6) Showreel again - when I tried to add my review (again rejected by VoxPopMe) to my showreel it said "error try again later". Then I tried to add a DEMO review to my showreel that was approved by VoxPopMe on the other side and wollaaaa the same "error try again later" problem.

7) I did not find any option to export the data to CSV. Especially first name, last name, or whatever you find out from your answers. I am not talking about your questions, but about your user's personal data that you can easily push in to your CRM etc.

8) Languages. No option to add additional languages.

You are honestly a hostage to this platform and are limited by what you can do with VoxPopMe. So again for the last time. This could be a great tool, but I haven't found a way we can avoid allowing VoxPopMe approval reviewers to access our videos.

Bought this product hoping to use it today for surveys we need to go out today. A previous product we had is experiencing technical issues so we decided to seek an alternative and this seemed like it could work.

Watched the video tutorial, read and re-read the instructions and set about creating a project but the UI is definitely NOT the same as the ones shown in the tutorials (and yes, they may be old screens).

First, inside the portal there was already a project that had been created with a title "Sustainable Products and Packaging - Consumer Attitudes" and the details showed: Sustainable Products and Packaging - Consumer Attitudes.

No idea whose project that is and there no explanation as to why it's showing up inside our account in the first place. It looks like THAT account has used up all its credits.

Among other things, we only have 3 locations offered i.e., US, UK and AUS instead of the many shown in the tutorial video.

We cannot select a number of options so we can't get past the very first step and cerate questions.

Something is wrong and we have contacted the product company to help figure out what exactly that is.

Have been following Voxpopme for some years now.

What I love:

->Probably one of the most mature companies that have been here on AS (check out the grit report page or funding received.
->Platform looks very stable, loved the dedicated AS onboarding.
-> Navigating and recording videos goes very smoothly and nice UX
-> Very nice post-processing of all videos to have the right info at your fingertips.

Cons (and I hope things they can change for the deal).
-> Enable Multi-Language support: A large share of the AS community is not English native - you are pretty much excluding them from the deal and audience.
-> Missing some of the enterprise functionality but I guess that makes sense.

My conclusion:

In terms of deal this might not be the UNLIMITED, UNLIMITED, UNLIMITED deal but for sure a purchase that I can use for years without being worried it gets nuked in a few months.
