I purchased Vumu almost two years ago and have tried several times over that period to make it work for me. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there has been much improvement since I started using the tool.

Still no CNAME. I'm not sure if they're truly planning to offer this at this point.
The overall organization and UX is still a bit clunky and confusing, with sub-par documentation.
The extension doesn't play nicely with others, though I've learned to mitigate the impacts somewhat by disabling other extensions, which have caused videos to lag and jitter.
The process for saving a "landing page" template is clunky. Even after saving it as a "template," you still have to manually click to apply the "default" which is frustrating.

I'm rooting for this team but hope they can do better.

Like many here, I was really hoping to replace Loom, but it is still a far cry from being able to measure up to that feature set. Features at the top of my wish list would be: smart captions, trim/ editing, remove filler words, blur sensitive fields, etc.

Maybe next year? 🤞
