Q: Someone else here asked if we can export the website or if we are vendor locked.
You said that it's not possible and then yuo said it's possible by backing up the website and getting the files, html and css.
What's the deal with these replies that have no detail, explain nothing, create confusion and don't answer the question?
I know you are busy, but for this question I want a reply that answer the question fully.

Sorry that there appears to have been some confusion here!
You can back up your website to a zip folder containing everything from the theme design that you would see in a browser (eg: images, css, html). For any other data or things you have uploaded, you can export the file uploads to a zip as well, plus nearly every area which collects data of some sort can be exported into CSV format. The website backup feature is in the System Options > Website backups. Everything else has an "export" button on the page of each section that enables you to download your data.
So while you can't take the platform and/or features with you, you can take what's important to you in terms of design and data.

Sorry about any confusion, I thought this would have answered your question in the previous reply:

So should you leave WebBoss at some point, and as long as wherever you're going allows you to import data from CSV files and upload images, HTML and CSS, then you can move your site if need be. You just can't take the platform with you to other servers.
