I can see what WebBoss is trying to be, and I like the direction it's going. Being able to do everything you need to do and have all the things you need to run an ecommerce site in one platform is something I would personally choose to sign up for.

They also have a lot of features and customizaion options. Take the header menu as an example, it has more than 30+ options for you to customize it the way you want.

However, building the site is PAINFUL with the HTML editor (no drag-and-drop modules and elements). Say I want to add a countdown timer, an accordion, or maybe a button. All I have to do with a typical drag-and-drop builder is drag the modules I want and drop them on the canvas. Done! Then I can go ahead and customize the look and feel of each element.

With Webboss, there's no easy way to do all of the above. The common modules that we are so used to seeing in site builders (slideshow, gallery, call-out box, buttons...) are not available in Webboss.

Another problem here is there is no live preview. You can't see how the changes you make will affect the live page. Every time you need a preview, you have to save changes and visit the live site. The load time isn't fast either. It adds another 5 to 10 seconds to your workflow each time. This may sound like a small problem, but when you are creating multiple pages with a lot elements and customizations, it can add up to thousands of unnecessary clicks and lots of wasted time.

WebBoss comes with a lot of features, but the UI / UX for all of them are subpar. Not only do they look old school, it often takes 2-3 more clicks to complete a task that can be done with one. On top of that, there is a loading bar that constantly loads on the screen every 5-10 seconds or so (that was my test a few weeks ago, maybe they have fixed that)

I decided to give Webboss a pass for now. Hopefully they'll improve the platform!
