Q: Hello, looks very interesting.
Maybe I missed something, however, looking at the roadmap it's difficult to tell what's been implemented, planned or future. Also, what is the tech stack generated (ex: frontend - react, vue, etc. Backend - javascript, php?
Thank you

May 15, 2024A: Hi! Thank you for your feedback!
You’re right on our roadmap, we’ll work on adding a rough estimate to each planned feature so you can know what’s coming next and what’s already implemented.
Your hosted apps are developed in Vue, and our upcoming app export feature, which will be released in the first half of 2022, will also export your apps clean code in Vue.
For the backend, however, we don’t have plans to create an export feature, and all the exported apps interact directly with Webcat’s backend.
Best,
Daniel
Why the lock-in for backend data? Many services like Ycode offer no lock-in with full stack exportability and data freedom. Please reconsider. It's the future. Thank you!
Thank you for your response.
Will the app export be a paid add-on? Also, what database does your app use for storing the app data and what is included in the appsumo tiers?
Thanks
Hi! We thank you for your suggestion.
We also think that full-stack exportability is a valuable feature. For the team, it is already a subject of discussion. We will consider it for inclusion in our roadmap.
Best,
Carlos
Hi! Thanks for your question!
The app export is a paid add-on that is not included in the Appsumo tiers. We offer app export for an additional $15/month if you want a single app, or $25/month if you want both iOS and Android.
Application data is managed from within Webcat. The web app and exported apps share the same data source, which is the Database module. If you wish to learn more about the Webcat modules, we invite you to open a free or trial account and find the onboarding tutorials, to learn all about the platform.
Best,
Carlos
