Exceptional tool + phenomenal support!
Webdiff has quickly become an essential part of my workflow. I use it to track visual changes across multiple websites, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks during updates, content edits, or third-party plugin changes. The automated screenshots, side-by-side comparisons, and change detection alerts save me hours of manual QA and give me complete peace of mind.
What really sets Webdiff apart is the team behind it. I reached out with a feature request and not only did they respond almost immediately, but they also implemented the feature within a month! That level of responsiveness and commitment to user feedback is rare and incredibly appreciated.
It is consistently updated with new features every month, always evolving to meet the growing and demanding needs of its users. It's clear the team is committed to building something exceptional and actively listens to feedback.
Huge kudos to the team - I couldn’t be more impressed! This is exactly the kind of product and support experience that deserves attention.

Webdiff Took the Stress Out of Website Updates
Before Webdiff, ensuring a website update didn’t break anything was a nightmare.
I’d spend hours manually taking screenshots, hoping to catch visual regressions or hidden code changes. The results were often unreliable, and crucial differences would slip through, leading to painful post-update fixes. Now, with Webdiff, that stress is gone. Its easy-to-use interface, combined with the versatility to compare local dev environments against live sites, means I can thoroughly check everything. The comparison report is rich in information but simple to use; you just have to look at the traffic lights to see if something is wrong. The sitemap import feature is a lifesaver for large sites, and their support team was available when I had any questions. The documentation is also very comprehensive. Webdiff has truly transformed my update process, making it efficient, accurate, and worry-free.

Herramienta indispensable
Herramienta totalmente recomendable.
Uso sencillo y fácil de configurar, puedes importar sitemap.xml de todo un site :-)
Te marca visualmente los cambios de una página con una comparativa. También el fragmento de código.
Se actualiza constantemente.

My first experience was good
I have made couple of comparisons of my websites. It works fine. It compares screenshots (pixel by pixel, source code and network request). When the core is updated or a theme, definitely the source code changes. But pixels should stay. The page marked as changed in the report and you can open the detail for this page and see screenshots with changed pixels marked.
You can add a link to sitemap to import all the urls. This is handy. I would not keep it without it.
The process is good. You create comparison, import the sitemap and run the first version scan. Than you can make any pauze you need. Then you can scan the second version. Versions can be the same urls, or a staging website vs production, whatever.
The scanning takes time, but it is on background.
What could be improved. It would be handy to keep going within the same comparison. I see the ability to rescan version 1 or version 2, so potentially you don't need to create a new comparison. I would not duplicate comparisons (it is possible). It would be better to have one place for all websites comparisons. Using previously saved version as a base for a new run. And ability to refresh the list of pages rechecking the sitemap.
But even as is, this is a timesaver. Recommend.

Helpful for site update comparisons
For anyone managing websites, the capability to easily capture how a site looks before and after making changes – be it deploying updates or tackling a migration – is a time-saver. It provides immediate visual feedback, helping to spot any subtle layout inconsistencies or style regressions right away. The interface is minimalistic and intuitive, letting you jump straight into comparisons. Plus, knowing that the support team is genuinely helpful and quick to respond if you hit a snag adds confidence. It's a solid utility, and I appreciate the active development. The only thing I wish as of now that the speed of comparisons would improve.
