WebDiff is a must-have for every web designer and developer. I'm currently working on multiple websites with both live and staging sites. Comparing both sites side by side after visual and technical adjustments and updates makes this tool incredibly useful. The support team responds quickly and personally, which is very pleasant.
One note: My Windows Defender flagged the Windows app as dangerous when I downloaded it. I allowed it, but this shouldn't happen. They need to address this urgently as it can cause a lot of user distrust. I use it on both my desktop and laptop, but what you enter in the desktop app doesn't sync with the laptop. You have to re-enter your websites for analysis each time because it uses local storage on your computer instead of cloud storage.
Overall, it's a very good tool. I'm definitely curious to see more.

Regarding Windows Defender, please note that the warning you're seeing is a reputation check, not a malware alert. This is a common issue for new software releases, and it's happening because of how Microsoft's security system, SmartScreen, works. SmartScreen uses a reputation system based on how many users download and install an application over time. Since our app is a new version and has a relatively new code signing certificate, it hasn't yet built up enough installation history to be instantly recognized as "trusted" by Microsoft.
We're working to speed up Microsoft's recognition of the app to address any concerns. We'll keep you updated! ✌️
