Q: Two concerns: User Friction and Privacy
Hi! I'm interested, but have two concerns:
User Friction: I understand active participants need an account, while viewers don't. However, for non-tech audiences, even this distinction can create friction compared to alternatives like Talkstudio. Is there any plan to allow active participation (e.g., Q&A or polls) without requiring a full account setup?
GDPR/Privacy: The AppSumo tab shows a US address, but the policy links to Kaksha Inc. My research leads to disconnected sites (kaksha.ai/404, appx.co.in). As a European user, I need clarity: who is the Data Controller, where is data processed, and is there a DPA available?
P.S. A trial period on your site would be a great way to let us test this friction level before committing to a purchase!
To add to this question - is it possible to upload the registrant list ahead of the event, like RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin) does so that attendees don't have to do this?
