Q: Can I please get an answer?
I reached out to WebStarts asking for help creating a more advanced template ideally something similar to their own website.
At first, I got a few replies and even a partial template, but since then I’ve sent three follow-up emails asking for assistance and have been ignored.
I still believe WebStarts has potential, but the lack of interest in providing support is concerning. The current templates feel very basic, and without guidance or better starting points, it’s difficult to create something that looks professional enough for competitive industries.
I notice there are many 5-star reviews here, but my experience has been very different.
Can someone from the team please respond and clarify whether it’s possible to get a more advanced starting template or structure?
Thanks, Zane

Aug 8, 2025A: I literally made two templates just for you
I find it audacious that you left a negative comment in the question answer section when I made two custom templates specifically for you even though that’s out of the scope of our business model. I also explained that it was out of the scope yet you still make requests and seem dissatisfied. I don’t think our product is a good fit for you
Hi Adam, I appreciate that you took the time to make the two templates, and I don’t dispute that you went outside your normal scope to do so. I also said more than once that I was grateful for that work.
The issue is not whether you made something for me.Iit’s that I was looking for a stronger starting point that better matches what your own marketing shows is possible.
My follow-up questions were simply trying to understand whether that was achievable in WebStarts, and whether I could work from something like your own homepage template.
When I stopped receiving replies, I asked here because I genuinely wanted clarity before investing more time. I still believe WebStarts can be a great platform, but I also think it’s fair to post here since you were ignoring me.
This is not personal and I’m not trying to offend you. I will repeat that I am grateful, but the templates seemed far too basic to me. That’s the reason I asked for your help again, but the result was still very simple and did not follow most of the suggestions I gave. You only added one video in the hero section and nothing else was changed.
From my perspective, the design I received looked like it took very little time to you, and it didn’t follow most of the requests I shared. I appreciate that any help is outside the usual scope, but if a bit more time had been invested and there had been clearer communication, this could have been resolved without me needing to post here.
When you said the product might not be a good fit for me, it felt like you were really saying that WebStarts is for people who will not reach out for help, and that anyone who needs more than the most basic assistance is not the type of customer you want.
Yep, the worst thing that can happen is when the company spens more resources on the marketing video and sales page than on the product, documentation and support.
