Q: Client limitations on the account dashboard

While testing, I created a website with as a test client (me using another email account).
It seems that clients do not have access to the contacts app, which is essential.
I created an appointment on this test site, and although a client can log in and manage the appointments, they only see a name and no email details. There is no way to reach out to the client by email without the full contact information.
Access to Email Campaigns are also missing. Clients are not able to create campaigns and email their own customers?
Also, the client dashboard does not appear to have the notifications icon/bell so will they not receive notifications from chats, appointments and form submissions?
I tried adding the client as a contributor but still did not see the proper access.
Is it possible to create custom user roles with proper access?

A: As an agency your clients don’t receive all the features available to you, that is true.

Tell me more about how you expect those things to work and maybe some of those can be added.

Awesome! The reason you are here is to receive feedback so I was NOT trying to be critical. You have a great platform here and I hope we can contribute to the advancement.
As mentioned, I have some clients who need kid glove care, whereas others want to take the ball and run. It would be great when adding a client/user/contributor if we could selectively give access to the site features.

Ok, that’s something I’ll take up with the team.

Any feedback on this: It would be great when adding a client/user/contributor if we could selectively give access to the site features?
