Webstarts is the best overall Wix-replacement, and has some value-added benefits that Wix does not have. While there are some obvious bugs and missing features, I can live with them, as I feel this is a great product. If you need to make static websites for yourself or someone else, you will not be wasting your money. If you need dynamic features like WIX Corvid, this product is not there yet. 5 Solid Tacos.

PROS:
- Easy to add your domain
- If you already have a hosted domain (like I do), you can just point the A Record and CNAME records to Webstarts right in cPanel. I kept my nameservers the same at GoDaddy, just updated the A Record and CNAME.
- Simple Online Chat. It is basic, but it works.
- Backups - not automatic but easy to execute
- Unlimited Domains ​
- Webmail - the interface is Roundcube. They have removed the branding, but this is the best webmail interface out there.
- HTML - The fact that I can add my own HTML is amazing. And I can add it as an "object" that I can move around on the page. For example, I needed access to more icons than webstarts has built in, so I just used Iconset, copied the SVG code, selected "Paste Code" in the Edit HTML screen, then I can move and resize my icons.
- Good basic objects, such as Images, slideshow, gallery and more. Most pretty basic but I am generally satisfied.
- Alignment of objects on the screen works well with the dynamic ruler

CONS:
- Font size changes is very buggy. When in Text Settings, you only have a slide control to adjust the font side. It simply does not always work. And when you select the text and make a change, the text deselects after you move the control. So if the size does not appear like you want it, you have to reselect the text and try again. If it works. I have had all kinds of problems with this. It is definitely buggy. I wish you could also enter your own font size by entering the number in like on Wix. Sadly, this is missing from many of the controls, like Rounded Corners, Shadow and more. I need to be able to enter a value for precision, especially when I make items on other pages.
- Pages. When adding new pages, they are not listed on the Pages dialog, even though the page has be=n added. I need to refresh the screen and return to the pages dialog before they show up
- Forms. Selecting Phone or Email does no validations as you would expect.
- Gallery - You can add video, but it only uses an image from the video. You cannot play videos. I needed to make a YouTube playlist and embed it (YUK). Need a native solution like WIX
- No Javascript. Should be able to add basic javascript, so I can use services like emailjs.com. I don't need a library like CORVID necessarily, but that would be a good thing. I cannot replace my CORVID sites with Webstarts (YET - I am hopeful)
- Can't delete sites. I was told this is an appsumo thing. (?)
