I recently discovered Appsumo and this is within my first reviews.

I did some research about Webstar before purchasing the deal. They had been around for a while. I found mixed reviews online.

Some reviews/comments are similar to the ones found here and some others do not seem to be compatible with the current features of the product.

I tried the product to create a landing page. So I feel confident enough to give an honest review.

What I like:
1. All the integrations, backup, email marketing, storage, etc.
2. Easy to use

What I dislike:
No possibility to export the sites. I can live with that.
The websites are not responsive. The mobile designs will look the same on tablets, reduced desktop/laptop screens, etc. In summary, for all screens that are between mobile and desktop (or laptop), the content will look squeezed in the center of the screen. I am not sure if I can live with that.

Concerns

Support once the Appsumo promotion ends. Will it continue being good or will become so-so.

Development and updates of the product. Responsive websites are common since some years ago. The webstart website itself is responsive. Hence I can’t fully understand why the websites produced thru their platform are not responsive.

There is still a chance that I am doing something wrong, but I searched in the product documentation but didn't found any helpful information. I wrote an email to the support team, but it was recently so I understand if they haven't got the time to answer.

Just wonder why can't be produced responsive designs. Perhaps it is in the plans for the future, I am doing something wrong, not sure?

Comments from the support team will be much appreciated regarding this matter.

I give 4 tacos based on my current knowledge of the product. With time I might discover more good or bad things.

The only thing that might make me jump off the deal is the website's responsiveness. In my perspective, if this is intended to be solved in the future then this is definitely a 5 tacos deal.
