Feeling excited!

Over the years boy, have I grown weary of the endless updates and babysitting needed for my Wordpress websites which to be honest are all a bit overkill for my customers, many of who are small sole traders with little need for complex websites. They just want something which works and doesn't cost a lot.

Wordpress just never stays still does it, an update here, security, back-ups and why is it suddenly loading so slowly?

I have dabbled a bit in the past of thinking of moving away from Wordpress - buying a Brizy cloud license, and then Webflow a few of months ago but they didn't really gel with me, Then this deal came along which I thought do I? Got a couple of codes and had a nosy and I reckon it will suit me a lot better, I think it appears more rounded and I like the approach of apps you can bolt on to your website.

The thought of building a fast loading, fuss free site with different capabilities suddenly feels a bit more exciting and I am sure my customers will appreciate the ease and reflection in cost of building a simple "dip my toe in the ocean" website.

Initial impression is it looks pretty good and I like the options of functionality re the apps and in particular the e-commerce facility. I'm trying a few things out and prepping for a phone call tomorrow with a new customer, so hoping to use this for their website and I reckon I'll know a lot more once I have a focus and build a real site.

The main thing I am looking forward to? The thought of once I build a site, I don't have to continually monitor and update it!

I keep looking for a roadmap, but must be roadmap blind as I can't seem to find one ... I'd love to know what the future plans are.
