For some strange reason, WebStarts has blocked users in Brazil—and apparently several other countries—from using their services. We wasted time evaluating the product, purchasing it, and having to communicate with AppSumo support (who couldn’t help us and directed us to WebStarts), then WebStarts support, only to be sent back to the questions page here on AppSumo for support.

After a few days and wasted hours, we finally got confirmation on why we couldn’t activate the product we bought: apparently, we were in a "restricted region" (BRAZIL).

This was just a total waste of time. If you sell a product to a worldwide audience but restrict certain regions—especially ones that are usually never restricted—it would be a SMART IDEA to include that list on the deal page as part of the terms.

Also, after seeing how Adam replies to people and companies buying this deal, and knowing that support for Sumolings is only available through the questions section on the deal page (no email support), we’re actually relieved we don’t have to deal with this further. At least AppSumo communicated that they would restore the coupon, which otherwise would have been wasted on this ridiculous mess of a "deal."

As for how the product itself works, we have no idea. But if WebStarts comes back, you might want to check if your country is on their obscure naughty list before spending any time evaluating or purchasing this "deal".
