So far it's good

I've used pretty much all of the drag-n-drop, no-code type website platforms out there; Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc...

I decided to give this platform a shot with a new project I've been considering for a while, and so far, the set up was relatively easy. Here are my pro's and con's so far:

Pros:
- It is super simple to get a basic website set up.
- The user interface for making edits to the AI-generated website is relatively simple and straight-forward.
- Easy to purchase a domain through their platform.
- It's great for a simple site that you just need to look good and be fast. If you want full control and customization abilities, this doesn't seem like that kind of platform, and it's not trying to be that kind of platform - it serves its purpose.
- I like it.

Cons:
- Purchasing a domain is easy, but figuring out how to connect your domain to your site isn't so straight-forward. If figured there'd be some button that says "connect domain", but there's not. When I clicked on "my domains" it said there were none, even though I'd purchased one. Eventually, I went back through as if I was going to search and purchase the domain again, but when I searched the same domain name I'd already purchased, it finally said something about I already owned it and to connect it to my account... very strange experience considering how simple everything else on this platform has been so far.
- But before I'd figured all that out, I had emailed support because I'd purchased a domain, but couldn't figure out where that domain went and how to connect it to my site. Their auto-reply said I'd receive a response in 3 hours -- 5 hours went by, no response. So I emailed a follow-up. By hour 6 or 7 I'd already figured it out, so I emailed back saying I'd figured it out, and still haven't received a response - not even a "glad you figured it out" reply email.

So I'm not sure if support even exists at this company since the only time I've reached out - It was complete radio silence.

Granted, it's pretty incredibly cheap, so I'm not expecting white-glove service, but at least don't say you'll receive a response in 3 hours if it's actually going to be 24-48 hours.

I still don't have an email back from their support team...

Conclusion:
Despite the negative support part, I've found that the platform is relatively easy to use in general, so I don't anticipate needing support again in the near future.

However, I do hope that's something that is being addressed in the long run because support is essential when things go wrong - and inevitably, things do go wrong at some point.

4 Tacos due to the lack-of-support experience. I'll up it to 5 if that changes in the near future.

I'm not sure what happened with your experience but there's an Add Domain button on the dashboard of each website. When you click that button and register a domain name it automatically connects to your website. There's nothing left to do. This is actually one of the main advantages of WebStarts.

We answer our support requests as they come in. We prioritize the quality of our customer service over the quickness at which we respond. Of course we always do our best to get back with people as soon as possible. I think you just ran into a situation where so many people have responded to this AppSumo deal it was a little bit longer than normal.
