The lifetime agreement ended with six days' notice.

I purchased WebTotem as part of an AppSumo lifetime offer.

On January 17, 2026, the company announced that it was discontinuing the original product, giving six days' notice. A new version, requiring a new paid subscription, is being launched. The lifetime offer is not being renewed. LTD customers receive a 50% discount for six months, after which the normal rate applies.

The old and new systems are presented as separate, even though they share the same name, purpose, and positioning. In fact, the lifetime contract is being terminated with minimal notice.

Redesigning a product is understandable. Terminating lifetime access with less than a week's notice is not. If a company is unable to honor lifetime access contracts in the long term, it should not sell them.
