Q: ok here's my question.

How are you better than Webflow? Why should I pay you $414 so I can export ONE website, and subsequently have to pay more money to export any additional websites? That to me seems to be a real deal breaker unless there is something I am missing that makes you so much better than Webflow. Besides hearing that page load times are slower than one would want, being forced to choose between slower page load times or paying a lot of money to export the code doesn't seem right.

A: Websites created with WebWave gets page speed scores of around 60%. Check for yourself, here you can find some websites created by our customers: https://webwave.me/made-in-webwave There is room for improvements here, and we're working to improve this, but I don't think that calling our websites slow is a little exaggeration.
You're asking what is the difference between WebWave and Webflow. It's mainly the way in which you're creating websites. WebWave works like a graphic design program. You can move elements around wherever you want, and design your website just like you were using Photoshop, Figma or Canva. Webflow on the other hand is based on a table. So you can only put elements in exact table cells. Webflow is nearly a graphical interface for code developers, while WebWave is better for graphic designers who need and want more freedom. WebWave is often used instead of prototyping tool. Graphic designers or marketers prototype and create a website themselves all in one step. But if they want to create a website with Webflow, use a prototyping tool first (like Figma) to create a design, and only after the design is ready they open Webflow to "implement" that design and create a working website out of it.
I hope I made it clear what's the difference in these two tools, but if you've got more questions, go ahead, and ask. I'll be glad to answer everything :)

I appreciate the response. The deal breaker for me is probably going to be the inability to export the code without paying a price.

From tier 5 export is for free :).

Hello,

Just as we promised, we have worked hard on Page speed.

A lot has happened here:
- We updated the entire server infrastructure by switching to newer and much faster hardware.
- We updated the HTTP protocol, so fewer requests are needed to download a page.
- We launched Anycast and geoDNS services. Both are responsible for identifying the server closest to your physical location and downloading the page from that server. With this technology, if you live in New York and request a website, all requests will be served locally by our servers on the east coast of the US. No requests need to go to our European servers anymore.
- We launched three new physical server locations. Australia, US west coast and US east coast.
- We have launched improved cache. It ensures that when a page is displayed, it will be served by our infrastructure from local server memory rather than being generated from scratch.
- With all this updates you are able to create a website, that gets A grade and above 95% score on GTmetrix, and around 90/100 points on your mobile version test on Google Page speed insights. But we’re not done yet. We’re still working on some more improvements :)
