Amazing Editor - Steep Learning Curve
After attempting to build a few simple sites to familiarize myself with WebWave, I'm amazed at the flexibility of adding images, video, etc. and being able to place items and animate those items however is desired.
The above seems to come at a cost though. The only aspect that has made the experience beyond frustrating at times is the same thing that makes it amazing, the free form builder. As it doesn't appear to use any traditional web design aspects (i.e. being able to have nested divs inherit sizing parameters from a main parent div/element), but instead uses binding which personally has felt excruciating to attempt to use. So far I find myself needing to create a desktop version, and then resize and adjust all items on each page to subsequently smaller and smaller viewports. The RWD feature has made this a bit better, but still struggling to get items looking really nice. So far I have unfortunately felt like I've wasted a decent chunk of time attempting to learn the builder. For now, I'll need to stick with Divhunt, a previous AS deal, or other standard frameworks to build out client sites until I feel confident my WW products can match in quality.
Overall, I will probably keep this as I believe the experience will likely improve over time.
