Overall a good web editor, but it still needs some improvements/updates

The overall experience inside the WebWave editor is good (even if the UI outdated) but there are many small quarks related to consistency, performance or the CMS and user management part.

The good parts:- From the deal perspective price vs what you get  - this is good deal (if you can live with the not so great parts)
- The editor is quite good, you can create a page quite fast (in a matter of minutes)
- You can easily adapt your page to tablet or mobile and the "Set up the elements automatically" function does a decent job most of the time (saving you a lot of time)
- There is a way to add dynamic content (similar to posts in WP). - here, they are named "News" and is a little confusing because it provides a generic way to add collection based pages(items)

The not so great parts:
- The biggest not so great part is the CMS and let me explain why. You can add other users and give them different access levels but only 1 user can edit the site/project at a time (so in other words you can't work with someone else on the same project let's say one person works on one page and another one on another page - this in not possible in WebWave). So in my opinion this team feature is useless.
- And as a result of my previous point you can't give your clients a link to comment on a page from the editor (before publishing) ... because, they can't add any comments unless you exit the editor- Site performance (for the published websites) is poor to average. I've tested their website the is built in WebWave and I've got, in Google Lighthouse a scoring of: 15 - Mobile; 30 - Desktop ... you can see this yourself https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https://webwave.me&tab=mobile ... I've also tested other templates that they have and the results are up to average nothing special... I think they need to put a lot more effort into this part
- Editor performance - In general is not slow but not fast also ... the more objects (and pages) you have, the slower it becomes. The number of pages has a direct impact on the publishing speed, and the number of objects on a page has a direct impact on the editor performance.
- There are many small inconsistencies inside the editor for instance:
a. You can drag any element inside the footer area from the layers panel, but you can't do the same for the layout area
b. There is no way to copy/paste between projects
c. You can create elements groups that can be reused but there is no way to group them in sections
d. In the menu component you can have a different background color for each responsive breakpoint, but not for the text color
e. Managing text styles is easy: you can create inline or from the settings panel.. but to edit them you can only do it from the settings panel
f. You can set a border and have individual control for each of the side, but not for corner radius.
---
I'm going to stop here because this is the max. of words I can add in the review area (and I think you got my point)

Thank you for this review. Let me explain some issues mentioned.
- For the last couple of weeks we've been working really hard on improving site performance. We've gone live with the first step of introducing CDN already. We're already finishing beta tests of step 2, and most probably it'll go live next Wednesday. This second step is supposed to improve the site performance enought to get A's and B's on GTMetrix. If more work will be needed to improve our site performance we'll do it.
- Only one person can access website builder at once. That might seem like a big deal in the beginning, but in real life our users are not complaining about it. This tool is best suited for freelancers and small agencies, and these websites are usually created by one or two people who can easily coordinate their work and not get into each other way. The same is true with CMS and content editors.
- Footer is a dedicated section under all other page's elements. But layout is not. Layout elements can be displayed all over the page. That's why there's no option to drag objects into layout, since layout does not have its own position.
- You can copy and paste elements between projects. You can use "My groups" to do that

Thank you for all your feedback. We're work even harder to make WebWave even better :)
