Q: Hi I just picked this up and had a few questions.
I am switching over from Time Doctor and had a few questions.
1. From settings/productivity there is a set list of app/websites..this does not automatically update with websites our users are on? Timedoctor will give us a list of all new websites and then we can mark it if it is productive or not.
2. Can we create multiple workspaces with this account?
3. I have remote employees that all work different hours. Can I set all of their different scheduled across different time zones? Because I noticed that it looks like in settings it seems like it is assuming everyone is in the same time zone.
4. In time doctor we have some staff click on projects to record their time. Other employees don't do that, time doctor just records their work and websites they were on. As mentioned above, we can see all websites so if they were on Facebook for example that would be automatically marked unproductive. Does Webwork have this feature where users do not have to record their time, the extension will just record their website and app use?

1. Currently you can update the app and website list on the Productivity Settings only by requesting. The used apps and websites will be added automatically in the Reports but will be considered neutral, until requested otherwise in the Settings.
However, we will soon have a feature that will allow all users to add and mark apps and websites as they wish.
2. One account=one workspace. There is no option to have more than one workspace with one account.
3. Right now there is no way to add multiple time zones in one account. However, we have this point in our roadmap and will add it in the near future.
4. App and Website usage data are generated only when the tracker is on. So, there is no way to track app and website usage without turning on time tracking.

There can only be one owner in each team that is considered a user and yes, the owner can manage 4 other users (within the deal, you can also stack additional codes for more users).

Q: Hi, I'm trying out this but facing a severe issue, submitted a ticket about this, and 5 days have passed without resolution.
The member/employee accounts are unable to log in via the Windows app. Tried different combinations of accounts and computers. It just wouldn't log in but was prompted "credential doesn't match", but these accounts are able to log in fine on the website.
Also, will there be integration with Flowlu tasks?

Q: Do employees know when screenshots are being taken?
From settings, you can select how to set up Screenshot Mode. You can select Background Mode so your employees can't see when the screenshots are taken. Otherwise, you can select Screenshot Mode, Blurred Mode, and No Screenshot Mode.
Additionally, employees also can turn on Background Mode in order not to get pop-up notifications when the screenshots are taken.

Q: I am curious about a use case for this software regarding projects and project budgets.
Is it possible to set up a project with a maximum amount of time as the budget (as opposed to dollars).
In an instance where we can assign time as the budget, are we able to say Project X gets 60 minutes per month. Once the minutes expire, the client will have to wait until next month for their minutes to reset.

You can choose one currency for your workspace and it will apply to the whole workspace, i.e. all employees/users.
However, if you need to pay someone in a different currency, the only solution we offer now is to create a different workspace and choose the needed currency for that workspace.

Q: How can we track & pay for active time above 3 mins and not pay for idle time below 2 mins and turn off prompt to explain idle time?
You can do this in two ways. First, in the Settings you can "Enable Idle Tracking". Then you can set the number of "Maximum Inactive Minutes" (for example 3 minutes). After 3 minutes of inactivity, the tracker will stop and a popup will open. The user can mention what they were working on (e.g. a discussion away from the device), which will be considered idle time, but will also be counted as tracked. Or they can mention that they were not working, which will not be tracked.
The 2nd option is to turn off "Idle Tracking". In this case you can still set the max inactive minutes, turn on the "Auto enable when active" toggle and the tracker will simply turn off after those inactive minutes. It will turn back on when the user starts typing or clicking on the device.

A great alternative to hubstaff or clockify. So very interested. However I am a home services business. We need to track our reps arrival time at office, work shop, supplier locations, as well as 100s of client lockations for the many houses we could service over a year. Is there a way to add in locations so arrival time is clocked? Is there a webhook ability to post time entries and location arrivals to an outside system? Or could this be done via pabbly/ zapier? Also I have started to see these apps with geolocation mobil apps also use accelerametor to give activity score or move ment score when at a location... i don't see that? Might that be added to roadmap? Would like to be able to post locations in via api as we could have many new clients and locations in a short periods of time? I would also love to track mileage and reimbursables between locations and start of tracking on mobile etc.

thank you - i would think being able to track entry - time in and exit of locations and have that as part of a webhook would actually be a really big deal. secondarily mileage between locations. and then linking locations to clients and projects. again all really huge and useful ways to use geolocation by adding geofences around those lcoations. frankly just geofencing locations with out the rest and then posting out would give me everything i need to do some crazy cool things
When your team members start their Desktop Tracker, the software starts taking random screenshots of the screen in approximately a 10 minutes interval. When the screenshot is taken, your team members get notified with a small pop-up.
They can preview, zoom the screenshot, type or change the activity description, and decide whether to keep the screenshot or to delete it.
Please note, if you delete the screenshot, the tracked time for that time interval will be deleted as well.
So you are saying there is no way to disable the notification pop-up that employees see when the screenshot is taken? The current tool I use is called Insightful and it lets me set automated screenshot intervals as well as take a screenshot on the spot (on demand) whenever I would like. None of the screenshots taken ever notified the employee. Is that not possible with this system?

You can turn on Background mode not to get pop-up notifications when the screenshots are taken.
Regarding the question of the screenshots frequency, WebWork takes random screenshots every 10 minutes and you can change the frequency from 1-3 screenshots in those 10 minutes.

It's in the name "Webwork" BUT I really love the simplicity of the UX/UI you guys have and I am wondering if there is a potential you might add features for offline workers.
An example of that would be "https://joinhomebase.com/" with features like employee scheduling, time clock...etc. Also the business model they have for pricing is lucrative since it's based on location instead of team members...
I am hopeful that you can discuss it with the team and add this in your roadmap.

However, if you want to choose locations so that tracker starts working there I need to highlight that WebWork doesn't have this feature now.

thank you - i would think being able to track entry - time in and exit of locations and have that as part of a webhook would actually be a really big deal. secondarily mileage between locations. and then linking locations to clients and projects. again all really huge and useful ways to use geolocation by adding geofences around those lcoations. frankly just geofencing locations with out the rest and then posting out would give me everything i need to do some crazy cool things

When your team members start their Desktop Tracker, the software starts taking random screenshots of the screen in approximately a 10 minutes interval. When the screenshot is taken, your team members get notified with a small pop-up.
They can preview, zoom the screenshot, type or change the activity description, and decide whether to keep the screenshot or to delete it.
Please note, if you delete the screenshot, the tracked time for that time interval will be deleted as well.

Guys, can you increase limit like in Hubstaff on screenshots? 10 min is big interval, 2-3 min is ok.
You can choose the frequency of screenshots from 1-3 in a 10-minute interval.
So you are saying there is no way to disable the notification pop-up that employees see when the screenshot is taken? The current tool I use is called Insightful and it lets me set automated screenshot intervals as well as take a screenshot on the spot (on demand) whenever I would like. None of the screenshots taken ever notified the employee. Is that not possible with this system?
- Do you have the option to disable the pop up notification?
- Do you offer the ability to take on demand screenshots as well as intervals?
You can turn on Background mode not to get pop-up notifications when the screenshots are taken.
Regarding the question of the screenshots frequency, WebWork takes random screenshots every 10 minutes and you can change the frequency from 1-3 screenshots in those 10 minutes.

Q: This question might be a little off since your product is more towards remote teams...
It's in the name "Webwork" BUT I really love the simplicity of the UX/UI you guys have and I am wondering if there is a potential you might add features for offline workers.
An example of that would be "https://joinhomebase.com/" with features like employee scheduling, time clock...etc. Also the business model they have for pricing is lucrative since it's based on location instead of team members...
I am hopeful that you can discuss it with the team and add this in your roadmap.
