WebWork Empowers Your Work
I usually do not leave reviews for products unless I’m blown away by my purchase. This is exactly how I feel about WebWork Time Tracker. As an independent management and HR consultant, time is money. As I have advised several of my clients, if you’re not measuring something, then it doesn’t count. WebWork makes the “counting” part easy and so much more.
I love that WebWork makes it simple for me to track where I’m spending my time across multiple projects. In less than 15 minutes, I was able to set up a portfolio of my current projects, add pertinent tasks, and specify in the settings what the system tracks as productive vs non-productive activities. You can also establish how many maximum hours per week you should spend on a project, so that the system can alert you when you are devoting too much time to that project.
The screenshot functionality is one of my favorite features. WebWork’s backend not only can capture screens of what is being worked on in specified intervals, it also gives you granular details about what is happening, from a work perspective, when the image is recorded. You can see useful information about average actions per minute, website/app details, and computer details. And no problem if you don’t to record screenshots – you can turn them off or blur the background to hide sensitive information.
Finally, the UI is clean and refined. From the dashboard that gives an amazing overview of productivity to the logical grouping of sub-menus nested in the navigation panel, you will be able to intuitively use WebWork without needing to refer to its documentation. Customer support is also helpful in the rare event that you may have a question that you can’t figure out alone.
I sincerely have nothing negative to say about this product; it’s that good. The only bit of advice I will give is to understand that WebWork is, at its core, a task management and productivity app. It is not a replacement for full-scale project management solutions like Nifty or Freedcamp – both of which I would love to see as future integrations. However, if you are serious about accounting for your time and seeing exactly where and how you’re spending it, WebWork is god-tier. Get it before it’s gone!
