Q: Lifetime? Or 6 years?
I just got an email thanking me for my lifetime license purchase that is expiring in 30 days. I'd like to know how "lifetime" equates to 6 years. This is the email:
Firstly, we want to thank you for purchasing weForms Pro Lifetime Access - AppSumo and supporting us all through this time.
But here is an important heads-up for you. You have only 30 days left before your current license expires! You will no longer receive the following benefits after it expires:
Automatic plugin update.
New product features.
Regular fixes for bug and security vulnerabilities.
Access to our support system for help.
But nothing to worry, your current payment method is and your license will be auto-renewed if you have sufficient balance.

AppSumo, we need your help. You were sold a lifetime license, not a six-year license.

Very curious what this is about. If it is as it appears to be from the email, I have some pretty strong opinions about both parties.

Yes, it's from a mass email they sent out to all AS purchasers. I logged in to my account to confirm that it says my 6-year lifetime license is expiring.

Followup from weDevs that said it was an error.
"We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by the recent email you received about the expiration of your Lifetime AppSumo deal. After carefully investigating, we’ve confirmed that this was due to a misconfigured email automation. Please rest assured that your lifetime license remains fully valid and will not expire."
Thank you, weDevs.
