Impressed With What Wideo Offers
Okay, so I did a free trial, and I had some concerns and questions about the interface. The team at Wideo got back to me in a timely fashion. The interface is actually what makes Wideo shine (with the exception of that little pop-up that is so difficult to get out of your way every time you add a new object - I told them about this and they said they would pass it on to the development). The best way to think of Wideo, in my opinion, is that's it's like a souped-up version of PowerPoint that can do amazing animations and background music. If you like PowerPoint, then you will probably like Wideo.
Wideo looks simple to use, and it is, but don't let that fool you when it comes to power and flexibility. This thing can create some very professional effects right out of the box. I own After Effects, but I don't really want to deal with the learning curve right now, and I truly believe that Wideo will be able to produce something close to that level with less effort.
It's the perfect pair with an Envato Elements subscription, because it makes up for what Wideo lacks in terms of stock music, graphics, etc. As others have stated, they REALLY need to improve the templates, and I would absolutely love it if they had a way of creating vector shapes (from scratch) within the program. Also, I really think we need some sound effects and more than two audio tracks. Overall, I'm glad I purchased the Tier 2 Plan. I'm just hoping that Wideo continues to improve it's offerings. Thanks for offering this LTD!
