I've been paying for Descript and have found it a very useful tool. I came across Wisecut and although it's clear from the reviews that it's not Descript it certainly has proven useful to me so far.
I immediately uploaded a video that I had used previously and I found the result surprisingly good. The captioning wasn't perfect but it wasn't far off. Fewer mistakes than Descript.
The removal of spaces was seamless - better than expected - and combined with the other options it left me with a very good video to further edit elsewhere or simply share on my YouTube channel.

I'd love to add a logo and I know that removing words is going to be an issue but it's about what it does offer rather than what it doesn't for me.

I don't usually use music but the result with it was good. It's made me reconsider. The punch in tool was good too, although I'd like to have more control over when it's used.

The roadmap looks promising. It's not Descript, but as another tool, I'd recommend at least trying this out to see if it works for you.

I know that this will save me a lot of time and help minimise the resistance to creating video content.

I bought Tier 1 which will be suitable for my needs in the immediate future, but I suspect that I'll regret not going to Tier 2 immediately.
