A: Hi, Socrates is for documents you upload. Wonders is a research workspace specifically designed for academic and technical literature. It combines search, organizations and analysis in one persistent workspace.
Hi Joe. Can you give some more details on your plans integrating with OpenAthens? And how about the institution pilot you mentioned. Do you have more details and an ETA? Thx!
A: Hi Serena, thanks for your question. We're serving quite a few universities, so this is going to be very important especially as we enter into fall, we're hoping to hit the back-to-school season.
If you're an educator yourself, it might be worth connecting through our support channels.
Q: It is a great research tool but do I still need to purchase articles?
I noticed it gave me great options to choose from.. but do I still need to purchase each article? The platform doesn't give me access to it automatically like Scribd?
1) We're gonna be working on models to access paywalled content a little later in the year—sorry this isn't possible right now.
2) For now, you can lean onto the rich corpus of 43% of all published documents as OpenAccess. By filtering for Open Access Papers only: https://help.readwonders.com/en/article/advanced-filters-1livfzs/
A: Hi, we currently don't support mobile phones. The research process is very complex and requires a laptop or computer to really receive the benefits.
We will be bringing mobile version later in the year once we nail the core workflow. If you'd like to add or support this feature, join us on our roadmap.readwonders.com.
Hi, interested in Wonders AI, is it possible to filter by journal ranking, for example Q1, Q2, etc. One feature that is usually very helpful is to create literature tables for the search, is that possible?
Do you index the paywalled journals or is there an option to grant the institutional access so Wonders AI an search.
We don't currently support filtering by Journal or Journal Ranking. But it comes up every so often. I think we'll need to revisit this at some point later this summer or early fall.
You can see our roadmap.readwonders.com & welcome to drop any requests here.
We index paywalled journals and will provide their resources in search results, but only OpenAccess...
Q: What's the difference between this and Socrates on Appsumo?
Can you please help me understand the difference?

All the best with the Appsumo campaign.
