Great Start, But A Long Way To Go

I'll start with the caveat that I only work with Bricks Builder (although I have many years experience with Elementor and others), so obviously my review is solely based on that compatibility and usability.

Like the title says, it's a great start and has some good features, but it has a long way to go... to be fully usable with Bricks Builder. The (staging) site I installed on is a fully fledged WooCommerce site that has been up and running for a number of years, has 3000+ products both simple and variable (from multiple suppliers), is fully dynamic and runs pretty well.

My client is always looking to boost his customer base and sales opportunities; I'm always looking to minimise my costs and maximise my profit margin. So when I see an AppSumo app that will help reduce plugin costs by bringing that function 'in house' so to speak, I take it.

Woooplugin is such an opportunity. The 3 plugins look great, have a consistent design and feel and installation is simple.

Now, I did read that compatibility for Bricks Builder is only ready for FilterPlus, but I did install Quicker and Discountify to see how far a long they may be.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the latter two have no compatibility with Bricks beyond installation. Having set them up and made them available to the WC environment, nothing is available for use in the Builder (I do use the Bricks Builder WooCommerce builder). I can say that using and creating vouchers in Discountify was an easy process, but that's as far as it would go.

To be fair to Quicker, I didn't really get that far as I have custom code relating to payment types and display based on product type. i.e my client only wants Klarna available on certain products, if it's not then all Klarna references removed from the checkout). Given that criteria, going any further than an install and poke around wasn't really on the cards.

FilterPlus however, at this point in time really isn't suitable for this type of ecommerce site, meaning that, there are a lot of different product types, from multiple suppliers, in similar and differing categories and tags. All these are displayed via query loops and beyond the simple filter by brand, rating, price etc. I can't use it. I need to filter within a category/tag listing by the variable options offered with that group of products, which may or may not be from multiple suppliers, and may or may not have matching variables.

Currently, the only way to do this is to create multiple filter widgets for each possible variable within a product listing and dynamically display based on conditionals from the query loop. But that is neither workable, no good for the page speed, there could be 50+ widgets loading when only 3 may be required.

What is needed is a way to connect FilterPlus filter widgets to the query loop to fetch the appropriate variables dynamically, i.e. Colours, size, weight, length etc.

To be using it for a simple site with straight forward categories, tags and standard variables (like colour, size etc), it works well. For those that need something more there's a lot of work required to make it a fully fledged filter powerhouse capable of working with Bricks.

It could be a great combination and hopefully the team will succeed in reaching that point and adding compatibility for Discountify and Quicker soon.

Do I recommend? Yes. It's in it's infancy, but it has great potential and is an absolute a bargain for what it can already achieve.
