Q: I have vebsite with over 4 gb database and 4 gb files
I have vebsite with over 4 gb database and 4 gb files, what about Storage per cloud site license 3 GB what can be stored by pars or nothing. For me and server side is enough, but will you service will handle this website
Ivan_WebFactoryLTD from WP Reset Pro Plan answered another user on May 15, 2024 and said you get a fixed amount of storage per Cloud license that applies per site (you cannot combine multiple licenses into one site); for larger per-site needs you should use a 3rd‑party cloud service. You can find that answer here: https://appsumo.com/products/wp-reset/questions/hi-what-means-2-gb-storage-per-lifetime-967749/
So in your case—if the Cloud license is 3 GB per site and your site is ~8+ GB (4 GB DB + 4 GB files)—the WP Reset Cloud won’t hold the entire site in one site slot. Options: keep using your server backups (since that’s enough for you), upload only parts of the site to WP Reset Cloud (split DB and files), or use a third‑party cloud (Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) to store full-site backups. If you want, I can walk you through splitting backups or recommend external providers.
what if I can normally hold backups in the same server, as now I do this
Even if you use WP Reset, we still strongly suggest holding regular backups.
Since WP Reset is not a backup plugin, it won't store your files, media files (images, videos, PDF files...), etc., so it's essential to have regular backups as well.
Also, when it comes to the Cloud size, if 3GB is not enough for your site, you can always use a 3rd party Cloud service, which does not have a limit.
