This is very embarrassing that this is a CRM, but it doesn't have a function to import leads via an Excel file

We’ve been using Worklenz consistently since last year, and it has become one of those rare tools that actually earns its place in our daily operations.

What immediately sets Worklenz apart is clarity. The interface is clean, intuitive, and thoughtfully designed—no clutter, no unnecessary friction. Within days, our entire team was aligned across projects, clients, timelines, and responsibilities without the usual learning curve that comes with project management software.

The task lists, Kanban views, scheduling, time tracking, analytics, and resource management all work together seamlessly. Nothing feels bolted on. Everything feels intentional. Whether managing internal workflows or client-facing projects, Worklenz keeps momentum high and confusion low.

Performance-wise, it’s fast and reliable. From quick task updates to deeper analytics, the platform feels responsive and stable—something that matters when your team lives inside the tool every day.

What we appreciate most is that Worklenz strikes the perfect balance between power and simplicity. It’s robust enough for serious operations, yet clean enough that it never becomes a burden. That’s a hard balance to achieve—and they nailed it.

After a full year of real-world use, we can confidently say this isn’t just another project management tool—it’s an operational backbone. If you’re managing teams, clients, or complex projects and want visibility, accountability, and flow in one place, Worklenz delivers.

I purchased 2 Worklenz codes because we wanted to replace our current process based on Toggl—a fantastic, convenient time tracker with features that speed up logging the workday across multiple tasks.

After more than a month of testing and daily use by me and my team, I’ve concluded that Worklenz isn’t mature yet.

Worklenz seems to have all the ingredients to combine Asana-style project management with Toggl-style time tracking in a single system, but it’s missing basic features like a simple CSV export for time tracking. Right now, you can only export as a PNG. Honestly, what PM needs a PNG export? We need to see project hours broken down by individual tasks.

Starting a timer is also less immediate than in Toggl, which has a top bar that lets you start tracking even without selecting a project. In Worklenz, you have to dive into each project to start the timer, which slows things down. And if you accidentally leave a timer running and stop it without noticing which project it was tied to, it’s not intuitive to find and fix afterward.

What I like least is that CSV export and billable hours/actuals either are or will be locked behind a paid plan starting at $218.75/month (billed annually). That price doesn’t feel aligned with typical AppSumo users.

For these reasons, I can’t give this product more than two tacos right now. I’m happy to revise my review if I’m mistaken about any of the points above.

I purchased a Worklenz license hoping it would help streamline operations and manage projects more effectively at my print shop. Unfortunately, the experience hasn’t been great. The platform runs very slowly, the interface feels unintuitive, and support is only available during non-U.S. hours (at the time of writing, support won’t be back online until 11:30 PM EST). I wish I had tested it sooner so I could’ve requested a refund within the AppSumo window. At this point, it feels like a wasted license.

The app is aesthetically pleasing.

It's clear, clean and the statuses, phases and time tracking function made it a delightful experience; however, there is something seriously wrong with the calendar/due date function.

Each time I set a due date, the app would change the due date the prior date. For example, if I wanted the task to be due May 18th, the app would change the due date to May 17th.

This was incredibly frustrating and the developers were slow to respond so I decided to move to another project management app.

Two stars because I was ready to love the app but it couldn't perform the basic function of a project management app: to keep track of due dates.
