Thank you for your feedback. Currently, we offer comment threads within tasks where team members can collaborate and communicate in context.
That said, Slack integration is currently in development. With this, you can Receive Slack notifications for updates on WorkZappy tasks; Convert Slack messages into WorkZappy tasks; Create new WorkZappy tasks directly within Slack.
In the near term, the plan is to integrate with existing Chat applications instead of implementing our own Chat functionality.
Thank you for your response. The In-Built project chat can ensure all history is retained. Implementing Slack might not solve this issue if the users are on a Free version of Slack or Teams, and I believe are limited to three months of history. Can you think about this a bit more?
There are two potential casues why tasks are not displayed on the Kanban view: 1: There are filtered applied, and tasks are filtered out, please see details here under "Search & Filter": https://guide.workzappy.com/project/board/kanban 2: Project Phases are enabled to track tasks, but the tasks don't have the "Phase" field set, so when you are viewing tasks in a certain phase, those tasks with no "Phase" field set won't show up. You can either disable the "Phase" feature (https://guide.workzappy.com/project/settings/feature-switch) or set the correct "Phase" for the tasks (The Phase field is at the top left corner of the task detail).
Did the developers remember to put task "due time" and reminders in the app? Not just due date which is insufficient for busy people who have to juggle their schedules - often throughout the day. And yes, time estimate is something else, but only works well with "time due". Thanks
"Due Time" is a default field in the app. If you don’t see it in the task detail view (WorkZappy supports custom task types, it might not be there for certain custom task types), please click “Customize” in the top right corner of the task detail view. From there, drag and drop the “Date” field into the detail section, this will give you both “Start Time” and “Due Time” fields, down to the minute.
You can also choose to make it a required field if needed.
Here’s a quick guide: https://guide.workzappy.com/project/new-work
For workload estimates, please check: https://guide.workzappy.com/project/workload
What about a reminder? A due date is set and let's say you want to be reminded 24 hours prior? Or a custom reminder date.. Also, are you able to send those reminder as an email to multiple recipients?
Yes. You can set up an automation rule to send email reminders to multiple recipients 1 day prior to the due date: https://guide.workzappy.com/project/automation/add-automation.
Use the "Deadline reminder" automation template to get it set up quickly.
Please let us know if you need more help with this.
Q: Can I share project with Clients?
Hi Guys, I need to share projects with my clients so they can write comments on them. Is it possible for us to invite and give them the permission to write comments and make changes inside the project content? I also need to know if I invite a client to a project if it will count as a use or a client?
Basically I need to invite clients to make changes in my projects writing comments and make change in their tasks but I do not want them to be an user but client.
You can share your projects with clients using the Share Board feature (https://guide.workzappy.com/project/board/share-board). However, please note:
When you share a board with a client, it is currently read-only. Clients can view the content, but they cannot write comments or make changes to the project or tasks. That said, allowing external users to comment on shared boards is on the WorkZappy roadmap, so this functionality is expected in the future.
If you need your client to write comments or make changes now, you can add them as a Project Collaborator (https://guide.workzappy.com/project/settings/members/project-collaborator).
However, adding someone as a Project Collaborator will count as a licensed user, not just a client, and will use one of your available seats.
Q: Team Chat and 1:1
Do you plan to implement
1. Team Chat at project level
2. 1:1 Chat.
Please? Thank You

Hi TGP, that is a really good point. We’ll give it more thought and consider the trade-offs carefully. Appreciate your input!
