Limited Bot, Poor UX and Wotnot

I'll be quite frank, I couldn't even tell you how the live chat works for this product because I only bought the Tier 1 deal to try out the functionality, and that's a complete shame - why? Because the deal gates human takeover behind Tier 2, when it's included in their FREE plan on their site...excuse me??

Ultimately, the features are pretty limited (though there is the addition of things like WhatsApp and SMS). Sure, you get some basic conditional logic with very narrow field choices with really only an API to lean on, but you're going to feel limited in what you can achieve.

What I really love about Landbot is that they've nearly thought of everything.

But with Wotnot, I feel there's just an attention to detail that would otherwise be expected. Some examples would be the fact that seemingly the only way to add new elements in the flow is via the "+" icon after each step. "What's the problem with that??", I hear you say. Well, the simple fact that it scales with the UI of the builder, so when you zoom out the workspace, you have a much harder time engaging with the flow, meaning you have to zoom in and out, and in and out...and in and out. Zooming itself is a nuisance. I'm used to builders where the scroll wheel does the trick, but when you use the scroll wheel inside Wotnot, your entire workspace disappears - fortunately the re-center your flow button is there to save the day, but I can't tell you the number of times that happened...
Another oversight is the fact that there's a date field. Before you ask why that's an oversight...the field itself is not an oversight, rather you can only select a date. When you're limited to native integrations, aka Calendly, it might be worth asking for a date and time. There's no time field, so wouldn't the logical, practical UX approach be to include a time toggle for the date field? You would think, but that's not present.

The list sort of goes on and on with these types of issues. Individually you might forgive them, but it's literally throughout the entire platform where it feels like they did 90% of the work and then just moved on to the next item. It shows a lack of quality.

The builder is otherwise okay and the experience is decent enough, definitely better than some of the recent alternatives we've seen here, but between the oversight left and right and the fact that human takeover (a feature included in the FREE PLAN) is not included in Tier 1, Wotnot leaves much to be desired. Oh, I failed to mention this is all for ONE DOMAIN.
I don't think Sumolings need to jump on this. Unfortunately it looks like Botgate ends in 1 day, otherwise I would recommend that over this.

Who knows, with the uptick in bots we've seen on AppSumo recently, it's only time another one comes around that's better and more generous.
